PetexWine

Wine looked at the pile of trash in front of him without blinking, his arms around the old guitar.

After Night had gone missing since that night, he will always come back to this place and just look at the pile of trash until the sun showed up.

Because as he said, some things can be found unexpectedly in the trash.

Sometimes he fell asleep, sometimes he doesn't. The eye bags under his eyes is a clear indication on how he hasn't been taking care of himself.

It had been almost a month. But Night never showed up. But Wine never gave up. He knows Night will come back, to him.

Tonight wasn't any different. Once he got home from school, he took the guitar and made his way to he park.

However, the usually empty park was occupied. Wine stopped on his track.

This is new.

Nobody ever go there, except for him.

Should he leave?

But what if Night comes?

No, he needs to be here and wait. He can't miss a chance to see Night.

Slowly making his way to the swing in which he will always sit at, the unknown person looked up from his phone and looked at him.

Smiling.

He nodded at the male, acknowledging him before turning his back on him.

For the next 30 minutes nobody said anything. There was no sound, Wine thought the male had already left. He turned slightly to peek only to jolt up when he came face to face to the person.

Their faces so close they can feel each other's breath.

Wine's eyes widen, and gasped.

"W-what are you doing?!"

The male smiles at the gaping boy.

"So you do talk."

"What?" Wine retorted, pulling away as he moved his feet to move the swing away from the male.

The other straighten his posture.

"You didn't talk and didn't even look at me since you got here. Is there something interesting there?" He said, moving towards the pile of trash.

Wine's eyes followed the taller male as he rummage around the trash.

"Seriously, why do you keep looking here?" He asked again. Seeing as the smaller probably won't answer him again, he moved towards the other again.

"Can I play?" He pointed towards the guitar.

"No." Wine answered without hesitation. His grip on the instrument tighten. This belongs to Night. Nobody can play it but Night and him.

Feeling as though the taller won't stop budging him, Wine finally decided to leave.

Please don't come tonight Night. I'll come back tomorrow. I promise.

The next day, Wine came a bit late since he has an extra curricular activity at his school. It was already near 8 when he arrived at the park.

As soon as he arrived, he took a sit by the swing as usual. Looking into the trash cans.

He didn't know how long he's been staring when a voice suddenly took him by surprise.

"You're here again!"

Wine turned and gasp.

It's the male from last night. How could he forgot? He didn't know they'll see each other again, so he never thought that the other would come again tonight.

This proved him wrong though.

Wine decided to not respond. This time he will not reply or even look at the other. He will stay here until Night comes.

Pete sigh at the male who didn't even look at him.

After the other left the park last night, he stayed for a bit since nobody was at home. He didn't think much of the boy who was hugging the guitar for dear life. Maybe he was just bored and needed some time alone.

He decided to eat out tonight, and when he was on his way home, he went pass the park he went yesterday, not expecting to see the boy again.

With the same guitar, sitting on the swing, looking at the pile of trash again.

Unconsciously his feet brought him nearer to the boy.

But when his exclaimed wasn't replied, he decided he was interested.

He wasn't that much of a popular in his school but people will always talk to him. He's approachable they said. So why is this boy not interested in talking with him?

Again, they both didn't say anything until the taller decided to leave, which leaves Wine sighing gladly.

Unfortunately, it somehow become a routine. Whenever Wine is there at the lark, the other male will be there too. He hated to admit it but he somehow grew accustomed to it.

Sometimes, he even anticipates the other presence.

Somehow, the reason for Wine coming yo the park has changed, his eyes still was at the trash but his attention wasn't entirely on it.

Pete, he was older and they went to different school. His house nearby, thus him being there every night.

That was what he had gathered after all those night the older male spent talking about himself. He never replied tho. The only time he had ever spoken to him was ok the first night.

Pete on the other hand was determined to befriend the boy. Somehow, a foreign feeling grew inside of him. They smaller male had never told him his name, never spoken a word but Pete felt a pull towards him.

Made him come to the park everyday to see him.

It was 2 months later that he decided he wanted to know more about the boy.

So that day after his class was done, thankfully his class ended early, he went to the boy's school. He sometimes wears his school uniform to the park so Pete knows exactly what his school is.

He went around asking the students and thankfully it's found fruitful.

His name is Wine and is 2 years younger than him.

Something happened to him on his first year but nobody knows what.

He's always been a loner but he didn't come to school for a whole month before, and when they found him, he was in one of the abandon building by himself.

"Wine..."

Pete found himself muttering the name.

"I'll find out what happened and one day you talk to me Wine."
