(Y/n)'s P.o.v
I sighed and leaned my palm on my hand. Blowing a strand of hair out of my face. The smell of coffee and lattes filled the air, yup you guessed it I was working.... I walked in the back room to try and get some more plastic cups to put in the front counter. I came out of the back room and saw a familiar woman sweeping near the door, she looked at me ready to open her mouth.
"Fuck off Donna I'm not going to your daughters fucking baby shower!" I said while walking.
I sloppily placed the plastic cups in the slots. How am I not fired you ask? My boss is a bitch. We're a decent coffee shop at least, I thought it would be more aesthetic to work here but instead it's hell.
There was a few people behind the counter with me. A European woman who pretends to be Mexican, that's Maria. An athletic dude in a crunches from his broken leg who is just minding his own business, that's Luka. Everyone else was in the backroom doing their own little thing.
A customer came up to the counter and ordered an iced white mocha and a Java frappe. Luka and I got to working on the drinks, we argued with each other and I almost strangled Maria.
"Bruh! Your smooth brain! Your not supposed to put all that ice!" I yelled at him.
"Are you stoopid! The lady said iced she's gettin' it iced!" Luka yelled at me.
"You should be using horchata estupido's!!" Maria shouted back at us.
"Shut the fuck up! Your not even made out of tacos!" I yelled at her, gritting my teeth.
We managed to get the drinks done and I went to go serve them to the two customers. I placed their drinks on the table, they thanked me. It was nice and all but I wanted my tip and money. When walking back to the counter a drink was thrown at me. My body stiffened and brown iced coffee dropped down my hair and face. Luca was laughing at me while Maria was laughing and saying broken Spanish. I walked to the back room for a towel or tissues or at least something.
Opening the doors of the backroom soaked and dripping in iced coffee. The two guys in the break room looked at me surprised before bursting out laughing. It was Brian and Emerson, they reminded me of the more Pg verison of Bert and Ernie. They were uhhh special. One was a total pervert and one was super old.
"The hell happened to you (Y/n)?" Emerson says.
"Nunya business old prick!" I snapped back. I took off my aheago mask.
"E girl got coffee thrown at her again probably," Brian snickered, I rolled my eyes.
I left to another empty room. There was a some tissues which weren't much of a help if I'm being honest. I dabbed the damp clothes and hair of mines. I took off my green visor and dabbed it with the tissues.
"Oh look a gay girl." A familiar voice said behind me. It was informative and almost like a robots.
"Your workers suck ass, boss." I said. I turned around to see a woman in a black suit, Cordelia. She's my boss and ex-boss of a previous very expensive company.
"I don't pay them much in the first place because I don't seem to give a flying fuck. Anyway you looked as soaked as a toilet after a child had explosive diarrhea." Cordelia says. She still kept her informative tone.
"No shit." I said blankly. She threw a towel at me, I started to clean myself up. It was better than the tissues.
"Well, you can go home for today. Your paycheck will be coming to your mail soon." Cordelia says then left the room. I put on my aheago mask and left the coffee shop while flipping each one of my coworkers off.
I was just gonna take the bus home today, my feet pattered against the cold concrete of the sidewalk. There was a noise but it didn't sound human or like an object. It was more feral like. I turned to the side of me and found a box in front of some sort of store. I squatted down to the box, a raccoons head popped out of it. She didn't seem harmful. I put my head slowly on her head and patted it gently. The raccoon flinched at first but relaxed in my hand.
"Awhh your soft," I said, the raccoon purred in response. Her little hands held mine. Eh I'll take her home with me, she's a raccoon! A cool raccoon! I picked her up in my arms.
"I'm gonna name you... Koolaid!" I booped her snoot. Koolaid made little happy raccoon noises. I walked with her towards the bus.

The door was kicked open by your truly, Atsuya yelled like he just pissed his pants. I wheezed and laughed hysterically. Koolaid was spooked and confused in my arms.
"(Y/n)! Why do you have a raccoon?!" Atsuya yells, his eye brows raised in confusion.
"Uh her name is Koolaid, I found her outside of a shop in a box." I said, I lifted up Koolaid by holding her under her arms.
"You would name a raccoon Koolaid." Atsuya laughed and facepalmed.
I put Koolaid down on the floor, (P/n) swayed her cat tail and looked at Koolaid. They looked at each other and sniffed each other. Koolaid wrapped her arms around (P/n). I smiled at the two of them. Atsuya said he'll watch over them and help Koolaid as I go to the shower.
