Highlight of my day? Finding an empty booth on the train so Theseus and I can sit alone.
Not that we didn't have alone time when we were at my house on Christmas holidays; but I mean alone time with your door open and your little siblings coming into your room every five seconds is a bit different than alone time when it's literally just us you know?
"Can't believe that your parents invited me to stay with you over Easter," Theseus says to me as I use his lap as a pillow. He's playing mindlessly with my hair with one hand as he holds a book in his other.
"I can," I say putting my own book down on my chest and looking up at him, "They love you, and I love you. It's a whole lot of love all around."
Theseus smiles and looks out of the window, "You're going to make me blush you fucking arse."
I sit up and fold the corner of my page so I can keep my place, "Good, maybe then someone other than me will realize that you have a heart buried in there."
Theseus laughs, "And why would anyone else need to know if I have a heart buried in here, are you already thinking of breaking up with me?"
"We would have to be in a relationship for me to break up with you."
Theseus pulls me on top of him so I am straddling his lap, he softly tucks a bit of hair behind my ear and bumps his nose into mine, "Be my girlfriend?" He whispers.
"Bout fucking time you asked me that, you only met my entire family."
Theseus smiles and his hands slowly migrate to my bum and he squeezes slightly making me laugh, "My girlfriends hot."
"I know right?" I laugh as I begin to kiss up Theseus's neck, nibbling on his skin every so often.

Theseus laughs and kisses my lips again before looking out the window, "Nearly at Hogwarts."
"Do you think it's going to be odd? Us in the same dorms as our exes?"

"It shouldn't be odd I don't think. Georgette and I broke up on good terms."
"What you think are good terms, you haven't seen her since school, you just wrote her a letter."
"Would you have rather waited for me to break up with her in person?"
Theseus looks at me, clearly waiting for a response.
"I would have rather you'd break up with her when you first noticed you had a thing for me instead of flirting with me while you were in a relationship. But that's neither here nor there."
Theseus laughs coldly and shakes his head, "Neither here nor there but you manage to bring it up whenever you can."
"Are we really doing this? Getting into an argument right after sex?" I huff.
Theseus looks at me and kisses my lips, "No, sorry."
"Are you actually sorry or just saying what I want to hear?"
Theseus groans, "Do you really want that answer?"
"Yes, don't start lying to me the day you ask me to be your girlfriend Theseus."
"No, I'm not really sorry. Because all you manage to do is bring up my history with Georgette. And I've told you time and time again that I don't want to talk about it. I was in a relationship with her for two years and now it's over. Done. End of discussion."
"Fine. I won't talk to you about Shawn."
Theseus laughs, "Fletcher? The guy that tried to assault you on Halloween? Best you not talk about him to me or I might end up breaking his nose again."
"I'm not doing this with you." I say crossing my arms over my chest, "We're not even at Hogwarts yet and things have already changed."
"Nothing's changed, I still love you and you still love me," Theseus says.
"You weren't talking to me like this when we were on holiday."
The train slows and Theseus gets up and pulls down our trunks from the rack above us, "Talking to you like what Cassiopeia?"
"Never mind, let's go I'm hungry."
I take my trunk from Theseus and the two of us head out of our compartment and down the corridor to get off the train. Ophelia and Ash are walking hand in hand towards a carriage. I wasn't planning on riding with her on the way up to the castle but Ash sees Theseus and me and waves us over.
"How was your ride back?" Ash says as Theseus helps me up onto the carriage.
"Fine yeah, nearly finished that book my Mum got me for Christmas," I say to her.
Theseus remains silent, I glance over at him and his jaw is clenched. The hickeys that I've left on his neck are pretty obvious. If Ash and Ophelia notice then they don't say anything.
"I got bored and gave O nearly a hundred tattoos," Ash says.
Ophelia pretends to be annoyed when Ash asks her to pull up the arm of her jumper but I know that she absolutely adores the fact that Ash sat there for the better half of nine hours drawing on her arm. She holds out her arm which is covered in beautifully drawn flowers and other plant life.
"Christ Ash that's impressive!" I say. Ash smiles really big and Ophelia pulls her sleeve back down and kisses Ash on the temple.
Ash and Ophelia spend the rest of the short trip up to the castle debating and talking about quidditch, the smile never seems to leave Ophelia's face.
I, on the other hand, sit beside my boyfriend in silence. His hand is protectively on my thigh, squeezing just enough to feel good but not too hard to leave a bruise or for it to hurt at all. He's doing everything but look at me which I find annoying. All holiday he did nothing but look at me and smile, and laugh. And now... he's managed to turn himself back into the cold and distant person that he was before either of us admitted our feeling for one another. All in a span of half an hour or so.
When we get to the castle Ash and Ophelia say goodbye before laughing and heading off towards the great hall, leaving me and Theseus alone.
"Cassie," Theseus says gently grabbing my wrist to stop me from walking into the castle, "I dunno, what happened... just you bringing up Georgette right after sex? Really put me off."
I smile at my boyfriend and get on my tiptoes to kiss his cheek, "I shouldn't have done that. Doesn't matter if it's odd or not, we're dating and things will just have to work themselves out yeah?"
"Yeah, darling." Theseus takes my hand and we drop off our trunks at the front entrance before going into the Great Hall. Students everywhere are hugging their friends and talking wildly about what they did over the holiday. I can see Jordan and Annie talking wildly to the Longbottom boys, trying to tell them as much of their holiday as they can before McGonagall sends everyone to their house tables for the welcome back feast.
Theseus and I walk over to the Slytherin table together, Ophelia is chatting loudly with Chandler, losing her mind about the fact that Ash came to see her. We pass Shawn who watches me with a sick glare. Theseus notices right away and stops walking. He turns to face me and to make sure that everyone who is staring can see before he cups my face in both his hands and gives me a proper snog, tongue and all.
"What the fuck was that?" I say to Theseus as we sit down.
He shrugs, "You're mine."
"Yeah, but was that really necessary?"
"Snogging you in front of that bastard that was looking at you like a piece of meat? Yeah, it was."
"So like, are you two dating now?" Sacha says in a judgemental sort of way to us from a little way down the table. Georgette looks like she might jump the table and kick my ass and cry all at the same time. Poor Cheryl looks confused.
"Yeah." Theseus snaps, "And?"
"Nothing, nothing. Just didn't take you very long. After breaking up with Georgie through an owl?" Sacha looks at me, "No offence or anything."
"Offense taken." I snap back at her.
Georgette rolls her eyes, "Look at you, the Slytherin king and queen finally in love... makes me feel sick to my stomach."
Theseus goes to say something but I put my hand over his to stop him, "Now you know how I feel every time you open that big fucking mouth of yours."
Just as Georgette manages to string a sentence together McGonagall starts her welcome back speech and the feast begins.
The entire meal I can feel my dormmates glaring over at Theseus and me. And I know that Theseus notices them staring because despite all the times he told me that he is against PDA, he's always touching me in some way and stealing little kisses throughout dinner.
I'm not saying that I don't adore the attention, because I'd have to be dead to hate the attention that Theseus gives me. But I don't think I'm a big fan of the jealousy thing. It feels almost like what I was doing with Shawn. Using him to make Theseus jealous; only now, Theseus is using me to make Georgette jealous. That or he's just a lot more possessive around people that aren't my family. And I am too, so I can't really judge him for that at all, I mean he looks like a leopard right now and I never did that to him when we were at my flat.
But I love him, and he loves me.
That's the only thing that matters.
