"Where are you guys? I go on in this than ten minutes," I yelled into my phone.

"I'm sorry the traffic is backed up to Second Street," Riley said into the phone.

I groaned, "This is really important to me."

This was my first time performing on tv without Josh by my side. Riley and Farkle were supposed to come and join me during my show, but now it looked they wouldn't make it.

"Text Lucas," Riley responded.

"Why?"

"His school is right next to the place your performing at," Riley explained.

"Fine. I'll see you later."

Maya: Can you come down and watch me perform

Lucas: I can try

Maya: okay I go on in ten minutes

Lucas: sounds good

Maya: I'll tell them your with me

Lucas: alright see you soon

I sat there waiting until someone came and got me.

"Ms. Hart they're ready to see you perform."

I walked out the door and walked into the stage. I searched for Lucas's face around the audience, but I couldn't see him.

In among all the clapping was Lucas's smiling face. He was standing up clapping just like everyone else. I mouthed a thank you towards Lucas.
