- four days later

"Come on baby" Shawn's voice rasps in delight. I trudge along, my hand encapsulated in his as he leads us to our bed.

He pulls the duvet back and I quickly but lazily get in bed snuggling up to Shawn's pillow. "Move up honey" he chuckles tiredly. I scoot along a little letting him slip his body next to mine.

My eyes slowly begin flutter shut, Shawn pulls me closer to his body and I cuddle up to him as much as possible.

"I'm tired" he mumbles. "Me too" I whisper.

We don't say anything else, we just fall asleep after the long day we had of putting some extra stuff in the nursery and having our families over and of course learning to live with our newborn baby, Haven.

"Lila" Shawn whispers, I feel his plump lips kiss the top of my head. "Shh" I hush him. I wrap my arms around him tighter, kissing his bare chest.

"Havens awake" he whispers. "You go feed him" I mumble lazily.

"I would if I had boobs that produced-"

"Shut up" I get up from his cozy arms and moodily make my way over to Havens room. He was hiccuping his cries, clutching his minuscule fists.

"Hi honey" I coo picking him up, cradling his small body to my chest. I sit down on the large soft chair, grabbing a blanket as I get ready to feed him.

At first he doesn't latch on and just cries and cries.

"Honey" I coo rocking him slowly. "Come on Havey baby, just eat" I whisper softly. He then begins to calm down and he's soon feeding. I sit back closing my eyes for a few seconds then I hear Shawn walk in so I open up my eyes.

"Hey" he smiles warmly kissing the top of my head as he ties the strings of his shorts and tugs them up at a little so his defined v-line was just about showing. "Hi" I reciprocate the smile.

"I'll get started on breakfast, anything you want?" He asks.

"It's five am" I chuckle tiredly. "But we're up, so we might as well eat" he sports a mischievous grin.

"Okay, well I want pancakes-"

"With strawberries, blueberries and syrup-"

"And some tea, please" I give him a lazy smile. "You got it honey" he leans down puckering his lips. I lean up for a kiss then suddenly haven lets go, making those adorable little noises.

"Hi buddy" Shawn grins crouching down. He kisses the top of his head and haven looks up at Shawn with wide eyes. "Thanks for waking us up" Shawn coos sarcastically making me laugh as well as my heart swell.

"Oh my god he's so cute!" Carmen cradles Haven carefully, she even had a bump herself and she couldn't wait for her own baby.

"He's adorable" Eli chuckles waving the soft elephant teddy around but haven wasn't having any of it, he only really seemed bubbly with me and Shawn which I kinda, secretly love.

I lean into Shawn's warm body and he puts a secure arm around me. "I think your dad is here" Shawn tells me. "You go, please" i pout.

He gave in quickly, mumbling "Fine" as he gets up walking away.

It's now five pm and we've been awake since five am, however Shawn did have a quick nap with Haven whilst I cleaned up a little knowing everyone would be over again.

"Hey honey" Dad walks in. I get up giving him then Taylor a hug. "How have you been?" Taylor asks as we sit beside each other.

"Okay I guess, he's very sleepy and hungry all the time" I chuckle softly. "You look so tired hun" her concerned eyes look over my tired face.

"Shawn does help out right?"

"Not really" I say jokingly. "Oh he doesn't?" Dad blurts out.

"Yes I do" Shawn quickly defends himself. "I know-"

"You just said I don't" He cuts me off snappily.

I was too tired for this, I simply sit back crossing my arms over my chest and it falls silent. Awkwardly silent.

Shawn looks away from me and I immediately regret what I said even if it was harmless joke. He looked so saddened that my heart just aches.

"Does anyone want any drinks?" Shawn asks around politely.

"Water is fine" Taylor answers. He nods walking out, I quickly decide to get up following him. I know he heard me but he kept his back towards me. I move closer wrapping my arms around his defined torso.

"I didn't mean it-"

"Clearly you did" he mumbles, he nudges his elbow and I know he didn't mean to hurt me but his elbow got me right in the stomach. I wince pulling back immediately bringing my hand to my stomach.

Shawn quickly turns around to me, his eyes filled with concern. "Fuck, I didn't mean to hurt you" his hands quickly reach for mine in urgency.

"It's fine, you just got me a little hard" I brush it off. "I'm still sorry" his dreamy eyes soften.

I look up at him sighing. "It's okay and I'm sorry too, I only said it as a joke. You do help me a ton-"

"Don't apologise. We're both fucking sleep deprived and cranky" he pulls me into his arms. I let out a deep breath holding onto him like he was my life line.

But I soon find myself crying into his sweater and not being able to stop.

"What happened baby" his large hands rub my back in circular motions. "I'm-I'm just s-so tired" I hiccup, I won't lie I was incredibly hormonal and emotional, I just wanted to stay here in the kitchen, crying in Shawn's arms for as long as I could because being in his arms made everything magically go away.

"I know honey but we have to suffer a little" he says gently kissing the top of my head. We stay like this a little longer then I pull back, leaning up to kiss beside his lips but he keeps me there to kiss me properly for a few short seconds.

"Come on"

I nod following him back to the living room with the water and beers for the boys.

"You okay?" Carmen mouths to me as I take Haven from her. I nod "emotional" I chuckle lightly.

"Hi handsome" I kiss the top of Havens head then I sit beside Shawn who puts his arm around my waist, making my skin tingle . "Look it's daddy" I coo.

Haven looks between us, his eyes were so beautiful, exactly like Shawn's.

"Hi bubs" Shawn waves down at him. Haven shuffles slightly so I pass him to Shawn who easily holds him in his large arms and a pleased smile takes over my face, seeing my boys made my heart glow.

"You guys look perfect" Taylor awes.
