Linda was now due in the next few weeks.

"The baby's gonna be here soon." She told Paul.

"I know! I can't wait." He smiled.

"Yea well you don't have to have a baby come out of your-"

"Julian's in here. Watch your mouth." Paul smirked.

Someone rang the door bell.

"I'll get it." Paul said.

He opened the door to find an older girl with a child standing next to her.

"Hey Paul." She smiled.

"J-Jane?" Paul asked confused.

"Don't ya recognize your old girlfriend?" She smirked.

"I-uh-"

"Whatever." She said. "Just wanted you to meet Sadie."

She pointed to the little girl next to her.

"Hi sweetie!" Paul said cheerfully.

"Who's the father?" Paul asked.

"You can't tell?" She asked.

Paul crouched down to Sadie and looked her in the eyes.

After a few moments, he realized something. He saw someone in her eyes.

He saw himself.

"J-Jane...what's going on?" He asked, getting dizzy.

"This poor, little girl has been living for 2 years without ever meeting her father. This poor, poor girl has never seen the face of the man that brought her into the world; that is...not until now." Jane said slyly.

"Who is it, Honey?" Linda called out, walking towards the door.

"What kinda sick joke is this?" Paul demanded.

"No joke, Paul. Just the truth."

Linda came by Paul's side.

"Who is this?" Linda asked with a smile on her face that would soon fade.

"Linda, this is my ex-girlfriend from a few years ago...and this...this is...is..." Paul trailed off before finishing the sentence.

"Who's the beautiful girl?" Linda asked happily.

"Sh-she's...she's my daughter." Paul said, terrified by his own words.

"What do you mean?" Linda asked as the smile was wiped away from her face.

Paul's face turned extremely pale.

"Oh dear God." He said before rushing to the couch before he collapsed.

Before he could react anyway else, he began to cry.

"What the bloody hell is wrong with me?" He asked himself.

"Jane is there anyway you could come back later?" Linda asked.

Jane nodded and said she and Sadie would be back later, after dinner. The door closed and Linda rushed to Paul.

"Linda, what's happening?" He asked, panicked.

"Linda, please, what's happening?" He asked again.

"Paul...you have a daughter."

"But...I never- I never...with Jane, I didn't; we slept together but I never- How is this possible?" He stuttered.

"Paul, we'll figure this out. You need to relax."
