It's true the obession is real as is the jealousy.
That we keep fighting each day for This obsession we already hold in our own hands.
That it's not enough that we already have it because we must have the most of it.
We don't want anyone to beat us
we want to beat them.
Fighting and fighting to rise on top.
Killing our souls and bodies to reach this supposed perfection, our very obsession.
Will they ever be something to fill up our already filled void?
Can this obsession be beat?
Or will we just keep fighting for this thing.
This obsession is a drug and we are addicted and shaking.
We can't take the withdraws
so we keep pushing to get this obsession fed.
Will we take this to our death beds or will society tell us a different thing to be obsessed with?
Oh how to beat our obsession that is always thrown in our face?
Why can't we just be happy how things are,
why do we keep wanting more of this thing and why does society keep telling us that's the way it should be?
Obsession, obsession wrapped around you and me.
