Why not set your mind free?
Yes, the dove that lives within you and me.
Why tell it to clip it's wings to fit some rules?
Who are they to say what a perfect masterpiece is when we are all beautiful artwork?
Not one sculpture is the same,
nor is one brain.
Differences are beautiful, the most wonderful things.
So who are they to say we are supposed to fit some image they are making?
Follow the path that calls your name, not the path they try push you down through.
Sing your tunes even if it's out of tune, because that's what makes you, you.
Conforming has done not a thing for anybody,
so step out of the mold and tell the stories that go untold.
Be beautiful you,
not what the world wants to see you be.
