I just don't want to regret loving you or anything.
I don't want to regret late night kisses and rides to dusk.
I don't want to have to ever bite my tongue and hide my feelings.
So tell me now if we'll last past summer that when the Winter comes we won't become part of the snow,
because I don't think I could take us melting apart when the seasons change.
So say the words to me,
do you really love me or am I just here until everything changes?
That you'll leave once you find whatever you're searching for and if I'm not her then I want to walk out the door today.
My feelings already reach out for you,
so please don't break me.
It will be easier now to tell me you won't stay, so I can cut my feelings lose and set you on your way.
I just don't want to feel the pain of wasted time,
so lean forward tonight and tell me if you're really mine.
