The Greatest Fall

I fell from the sky.
I fell from glory.
I got down on my knees and begged for forgiveness,
but yet I had already committed the crime.

It was time to pay for all the bad karma I had created,
but all I wanted to do was hide.

The circle had already turned and now it was my turn to walk in this journey called life.

Sadly I was born too,
with the human curse under my once golden crown,
that now the color comes off in flakes of gold.

Moving ahead I stumble back onto my knees.
God himself was humbling me.
Slowly I rose back up onto my trembling legs

I was meant to finsh this journey of the great fall.
The end will only bring death back into the living.

So here I am walking on feet
when I use to have wings that would catch me when I would fall,
now I tumble down when I miss a beat and I have to use my legs to rise again.

Tis not the end to this story of the greatest fall.

This is only the beginning to what makes us all.
