If I would've only knew that his heart was as black as coal.
If I only knew he'd be destroying me and taking away my sanity.
This could've never have been a story to be told,
if only I saw past his pearly white smile and saw his dark heart.
Maybe I wouldn't be so broken if I would've realized he was playing me making me his little toy that he pretended to love,
but I was the first thing he threw out the door.
But now as I sit crying the tears are only for me,
not him because he's the one who should be regretting doing all those things I shouldn't be the one feeling the pain and crying.
If I only would have knew...
