What is poetry really?
Is it what the teachers taught about the rhyme and speed?
Is it just words spread across once blank white paper with blue lines?
Or is poetry something entirely different?
Here I am now to breath life into these question.
Poetry is an escape from negativity and a holder of dreams.
Poetry is air to my Much to starved lungs.
Poetry is a bird with wings that sets us free.
No, poetry is not words on paper
but freedom and help.
P- perfection that hasn't been seen
O- opposing against beliefs that there is no escape
E- Ending of being locked within one's cage
T- Truth in all matters
R- Righteousness that we all crave to be
Y- Youth that stays within our souls where we never age and where one day we are set free.
Poetry is the change that came to be in this world and the change to come.
You better believe that poetry is more than something to be performed or read because poetry is true meaning.
Poetry hides many things
but never lets the truth go unheard,
if only all the ears of the world would listen to poetry's silent screams and singing they'd understand that it is not just of words but of many journeys too.
Poetry has a new meaning for all that hears her tune.
