The Emotion Fall

I knew how it was to be broken.
How it feels for your soul to weep. That deep down pain you can't explain.

I even knew how to play the game of smiling.
You could say lot of things,
like we had everything
but sometimes it's not enough.

That when your own mind
becomes a prisoner
you become a slave to its broken tune.

Not even the dream world could keep its humming away,
that when you awake shooting straight up in your bed
there it rest in your little head.

Sometimes thoughts destroy
pieces of us and suck any happiness out of the room.

I knew it to well too.
This is what I meant when I told you
I understood you too.

Even though you disagreed and shook your head,
I know one day you'll realise
we have all felt
the emotion fall.

The biggest ball of darkness that has ever knocked us off our feet.
The Emotion Fall.
