If you only knew my story what would you think of me?
Would you think of me as insane lost at one time inside my own minds cage?
Or would you be seeing how we are the same?
That each struggle has brought us to success even though we still seem to be struggling?
That within the flames the ashes grow into nutrients for the trees.
Could you finally find things understandable between me and you?
Would it teach you we are all flowers who have once wilted but not died?
Maybe just maybe this story would give you back your pride to reach victory.
Yes, maybe you'd see past the fires flames that burn, the glowing flicker that is bringing many good things through the teachings of suffering.
We all have a story of humbling through pain.
Are we now on the same page writing
our own stories about the struggle to success?
