Percy Rewrites: Teenage Blue Cape

THIS IS THE 100th PART OF THIS BOOK!!!!

And yesterday I went to the Trials of Apollo release! He read a part of a chapter out loud AND I GOT TO ASK UNCLE RICK A QUESTION!!!

Percy Rewrites are gonna be a series of one shots in which Percy rewrite fairy tales with his friends in it.

So here is the first Percy Rewrite:

Teenage Blue Cape

Once upon a time not so far a way there was a teenage boy who got along with most people (who weren't trying to kill him) and most of all he got along with and loved his mom. His mom was the best person ever she would give him anything she could, from cookies colored blue to the awesome looking blue cape. Since it was a gift from his mother (which had hidden pockets he could hide cookies in) people started calling him Teenage Blue Cape.

One day he was hanging out with his girlfriend when his mentor Chiron interrupted. "Sorry Teenage Blue Cape, but I just received word that your mom has fallen ill. I suggest you go see her. Especially before it gets to hot out."

"I'll leave now," Teenage Blue Cape decided.

"You should bring her some medicine and food," his girlfriend Annabeth suggested.

"I'll stop by the Hestia's for some soup, the bakery,, and Will's on my way out of the village!" He called starting to hurry away.

"Don't eat all the baked goods yourself! And don't get lost this time!"

"No promises!"

After his quick stops Teenage Blue Cape headed off into the woods. His mother lived out in the woods in his childhood home. His mother had raised him there in order to keep in safe. He walked into the trees following the path, and it wasn't long until a female monster stepped in his way. Teenage Blue Cape wasn't fazed. He continued on his way as the female monster spoke.

"Hey," said the female monster.

"Sup?" Teenage Blue Cape responded.

"What are you doing? Shouldn't you be back with those friends of yours?"

"I could but, I'm going to my mom's. What are you doing Ms...?"

"Gaea. And I'm simply out for a walk. What's in your backpack?"

"Meds and food for my mom."

"How far away does your mom live?"

"Further in the woods. Under that huge oak."

Gaea thought to herself: Hmm. I'm bored and hungry. Like really hungry. Maybe I can eat the mom... him too! Oh and I'll eat the food he brought for dessert! But I hope this goes quickly, I can't be late to poker night with Nyx!

"Mind if I join you?" Gaea asked. "Would be nice to walk with someone for a while."

"Eh sure. I don't care."

For a while both walked together enjoying the sunshine, eating some of the baked goods Teenage Blue Cape had picked up on the way. After a while Gaea spoke. "So, nature. Real pretty right?"

"Yup," Teenage Blue Cape agreed. "It is certainly nature. Those flowers are cool."

"Those red ones are pretty."

"No not those. The red ones look horrible. I was talking about the blue ones next to it... Maybe I'll grab some for my mom. She likes flowers." He walked off the path and further in the woods looking for all the blue flower he could find. After a while he looked around. "Styx, lost again. Annabeth is gonna murder me."
