Back Again

The first girl gripped her bag tightly as she ran. She couldn't afford to be late for this class. Not with the big test coming in a couple days. She dodged people  as she sprinted across campus. She didn't even have time to pick up get pre-class coffee. But the second girl did.

She plowed into the other girl and both went crashing on to the ground. Coffee flying up in the air and landing on them both.

The first girl scrambled back. "Oh my god! I'm so sorry!"

The second girl glared as she tried to wipe her glasses. "What the hell! Watch where you're going idiot!"

The first girl bit her tongue as she stood. She didn't have time for this. She stuffed her hand in her pocket and threw the girl a crumbled five dollar bill before running off once again trying to wipe hot coffee off herself as she went.

The second girl cursed standing as grabbed the money the first girl have thrown her. She sighed. Now she'd have to go back and change before going to meet up with her friends. She started walking toward her dorm and as she did she gripped her long braid trying to pick the grass that had gotten in it out.

After class the first of our two girls formed at her now stained shirt.

"Hey, wanna come with us to JuJu's? I'm buying." The first girl looked up to see that one of her friends, Michael had spoken.

"Sorry I can't. I still have to figure out what the hell it is I'm being taught. But, you can still drop me one off."

"Oh come on," He said with an eye roll. "you've been studying nonstop. Give it a rest."

She sighed. "Only since you're buying."

"Welcome to JuJu's Juice Bar how may I help you?" A fake smile went along with statement as the second girl glanced at the clock out of the corner of her eye. Only fifteen minutes left until she was off. When her eyes focused back in on the customer she suppressed a grimace. It was the same girl who had plowed over her earlier. She wasn't quite sure if the girl had noticed. She was busy typing something on her phone.

There were three people with her.

"Are you all together?" She asked the group.

The boy in front nodded. "Yeah. And unfortunately I'm paying. So what do you guys want?"

The three gave their orders before it was the girl from earlier's turn.

The boy said something to her and she blinked looking up from her phone. Her green eyes widened slightly when she noticed who was working.

"I'll take a strawberry."

The second girl nodded, at least this girl had good taste in smoothies, and put it in the register before taking the boys money. She quickly set to work making the four smoothies. When she was finally done she handed them out. The girl from earlier was again on her phone. One of the people with her nudged her and she looked up to take the smoothie.
