Life is grimm...horrifically, utterly, completely Grimm.
Life isn't a fairy tale.
It's nothing but pain and suffering.
I laid on the flat on my stomach with my head directly into my pillow as the music played softly in the background.
I heard the door creek signaling someone was entering. I didn't bother look up.
"Zayn?" I murmured into the pillow.
I felt the bed dip besides me. "Sorry to disappoint." Calum chuckled as he pulled the covers off my head.
"I brought Lizzie back, she had a busy day today so I already put her to bed." He told me.
"Thanks." I said blankly.
"El..what's going on with you? Are you alright?" He asked, concern clear in his voice.
I groaned and pushed myself up. "Just fucking dandy." I said sarcastically as I dragged myself out of the bed heading towards my door.
"Alright, what happened?" Calum said, walking out of the room behind me.
I entered the kitchen and leaned over the counter, "Just leave it alone, Calum." I sighed, annoyed.
"No, I will not leave it alone, Elena." Calum said stubbornly.
I turned around to face him, the anger inside me was building by the second.
"Why do you always have to ruin things? Huh? Why can't you just leave me the hell alone for once??" I said rhetorically.
"You're the worst thing that's happened to me! YOU ARE NOTHING TO ME!" I shouted. Calum stood there dumbfounded, his lips parted slightly.
"You may be Elizabeth's father but that's all you'll ever be! Everything was perfectly fine before you came along!" Tears began to fall freely from my eyes.
"I h-hate you! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!" I repeated. I ran towards him and began to bang on his chest with my fists. The tears were flowing uncontrollably.
He grabbed my wrists firmly, I looked up at him, the tears blurring my eyes slightly..
I struggled against his hold, I continued to thrash against him.
He wrapped his arms around be securely me.
"I hate you." I said through gritted teeth.
I stopped fighting against him and sobbed against his chest. I gripped his t shirt in my hands.
"I love you." I whispered. He kissed the top of my head and rocked us back and forth until my eyes began to feel heavy, he knocked my feet from under me and carried me to my bed.
Memories of me and Zayn flooded to the front of my mind, tears where threatening to spill over.
Calum kissed my cheek and made his way to bedroom door.
"Calum, please don't...don't leave." I sat up and stared towards him.
He smirked at me, "Why?"
I took a deep breath.
"I want you to stay."
