Chapter - 13

Rudra's POV:

A few days have been really hectic for me but the best part of my day will be to meet her. Just seeing her face and talking to her all the stress vanishes. I have seen the difference in her too. She has become more comfortable with me.

What I like that one thing most about her is that she is making effort. It is clearly visible in her actions. First, she was giving short replies like ok, yes, and so on. Now she used to talk a lot which is a good sign. I know she has her own fears but she is overcoming them.

First time when we went to that restaurant I knew she was nervous. She was worried about what people will think about her. I assured her that I believe she was looking perfect and all that matters. It was true she never feels to amaze me.

I had a great time that I spent together. The first time she demanded something for me was ice cream. I don't like to eat ice cream much but when she showed her puppy eyes I just could not say no to them. The way she shared ice cream was cute.

Every day was bliss when spent with her. I observed she likes chocolate very much. She is like a child but she has suppressed that side inside her. She tries to act very mature and tough nut to crack but deep down she is so soft.

The sad and the tough part of spending a day with her is when I need to drop her at her home. When she used to go I don't know but I used to feel sad. I wanted to take her to my home and wake up seeing her face. If it was in my hand I would have been married to her but I know she is still not ready for that step. So I push all those thoughts aside and take one step at a time.

Nowadays my work has become hectic and it is really stressful. Today I have been swamped with work. I cannot meet Aadhya today.

I informed her about this and convinced her that I will send a driver to drop her home. I just want to make sure she has reached safely. I know you people might think that before also she used to travel. I know that but for me, if I can do anything to make her life less hectic or to ensure her safety I will do it.

I fixed my attire before going to the conference room. I was wearing a white shirt with dark grey pants. After looking at myself one last time I went towards the conference room.

After having a long day clock stuck at 10 PM. Today was a hectic day and I was not able to call or message Aadhya. I decided to check my phone when there was a message from her. As per the message she went to bed early.

The line that made me happy was that she said she missed me. This was the first time she has said it on her own. I really felt an urge to meet her.

I have decided to meet her. So I order takeout and went to see her. I was thinking to go through the door but then I thought what is fun in that?

I parked a car at a distance from her house and picked up the things. The good thing about her room is she is on the first floor so I don't have to climb much. If someone would have asked me this few months back that I would go this extra mile for a girl? I would have laughed at him.

After a little struggle, I climbed and knocked at her window. I waited for her to open the window but some sound was coming from her side. It was looking like some movie is going on. I decided to call her but she did not pick up. I thought what a stupid idea this was and decided to give it a last try and then I will go home.

I knocked a few times more but no response. Thinking that my plan failed I was about to go back.
