Yuqi's POV

"Hello," I waved to the receptionist. "I'm new here and I need my schedule. My name is Song Yuqi."

"Here you are," she gave me the paper. "Have a great first day."

I bowed respectfully then walked to my first class. I was thankful I studied Korean for a little bit because now I'm actually here.

My college scholarships only allowed certain schools and this was the closest I could get from my home.

The others were the United States or Canada. I didn't want to be that far from my parents in China.

I slowly approached the room seeing a guy inside. I walked inside making him look up.

"Hello," he stood up and bowed to me.

"H-Hi," I blushed, bowing back.

"My name is Seo Y/n," he stuck his hand out.

"Song Yuqi," I shook it.

"Yuqi?" He furrowed his brows. "Is that Chinese?"

"Uh yes," I smiled. "How'd you know?"

"I studied abroad last year," he smiled back.

He offered me the seat beside him. We continued to talk, him helping me with some vocabulary I had been struggling with.

I saw a girl come in, going straight to him.

"Y/n I need some money," she whined.

"Soojin I gave you money yesterday," he groaned.

I watched them interact with each other before realizing they were twins.

"Song Yuqi," Y/n smiled. "My sister, Seo Soojin. Soojin, Yuqi."

I bowed, receiving one back.

"When's your birthday?" She asked me.

"September 23, 1999," I replied.

"Ours is March 9, 1998," Y/n spoke. "So I'm an Oppa to you."

"And I'm an Unnie," Soojin flipped her hair. "Y/n please? I need to buy Shuhua snacks before my next class."

"Fine," the boy grabbed his wallet. "And you wonder why Eomma nags you for not having money."

"Well it's not like you'd understand," she teased. "You don't have a girlfriend."

"Aish," he frowned. "Don't remind me."

Soojin left, leaving Y/n and I alone.

"Was class supposed to be started already?" I furrowed my brows.

"Uh yeah," he looked around. "The teacher didn't show up today. So everyone left after waiting for five minutes."

"You didn't leave?" I looked at him weirdly.

"I don't want to go to soccer practice," he sighed.

"Why not?" I propped my head onto my hands.

"I guess I'm tired," he shrugged.

"So you play soccer," I smiled. "And you don't have a girlfriend? How is that possible?"

"I just haven't asked anyone," he chuckled.

"Well I know that no one would reject you," I shook my head.

"And why's that?" His eyes met mine.

"Because you're good looking," I winked at him.
