Angst & FluffNayoung's POV
I slid down the wall as I cried. I tugged my knees close to my chest and sobbed hard. This news is just so abrupt.
My heart ached as I thought about telling everyone I love about this horrible news.
"Nayoung?" I heard my boyfriend. "What's wrong?"
I reached for him and he immediately hugged me. I cried into his shirt, clenching it tight.
"Nayoungie?" He whispered. "Tell me what's wrong?"
"I'm dying Y/n," I whimpered. "It's irreversible. They don't have a cure or anything."
He sighed deeply before hugging me tighter.
"I only have three months left to live," I held him tighter.
"Then let's get your bucket list," he smiled. "I told you writing it wasn't for nothing."
"I didn't think it would come to this," I wiped my tears. "This shouldn't be the reason we're fulfilling it."
"I know Nayoung," he laid his forehead to mine. "Now come on. Let's go find it."
~~TIME SKIP~~
"We could do one everyday," he smiled.
I looked up at Y/n before smiling back.
"I love you so much," I held his cheek.
"I love you too. We should do the first one right now," he shrugged.
"And that is?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Give you a driving lesson," he snickered.
"You ass!" I hit his chest. "I'm a good driver!"
"I know but seriously," Y/n hummed. "The first one is going on a hike."
"Yeah but most hiking trails are outside the city," I pouted.
"I'm willing to make that drive," he smiled.
We got some bags packed before leaving the apartment. Y/n drove on a road that led outside the city.
"I'm sorry," I whispered. "That I'm leaving you."
"It's okay Nayoung," he smiled cheerfully. "Let's just focus on the time we have."
~~TIME SKIP~~
It's been about a month and a half. Y/n kept his promise to do something new on my bucket list everyday.
We were far from home, sometimes sleeping in a hotel or the car. I was getting weaker day by day.
Y/n held my hand tight as we walked through the woods. We agreed to do some smaller things along the way until we found a safe hiking trail.
"Wah," I covered my mouth. "Oppa look!"
I pointed to a small stream of water. We went over to it and laid out our picnic gear.
"It's so quiet out here," he looked around.
"Y/n you know we have to go back home sometime, right?" I whispered as we began eating.
He nodded sadly.
"I just wish I had more time with you," he sighed. "I knew you were the one for me Nayoung."
I leaned over, kissing his lips gently.
"In another life," I whispered.
He nodded, smiling softly. We ate before some clouds made it dark.
