Later, Zeb and the salvage Team find a manhole and jump inside the ship! Seeing that it's all clear, Zeb tells Chopper to restore the ship's power systems in order to aid their search before sending him to the bridge to see what he can do!

Zeb: All clear... Come on!

Chopper: (Chopper Beeping)

Zeb: We're going to need to restore power to the cargo hold... Chopper, get to the bridge and see what you can do!

Chopper: (Chopper Beeping)

While Eldra questions whether or not it was a good idea to split up, Ezra agrees with Zeb that it was a good order since he is in charge of the salvage mission!

Eldra: Are you sure splitting up is a good idea?

Ezra: It's a good order...

Zeb: Yeah... Here's another one! This way... Come on!

Eldra: Whoa there!

Zeb along with the others traveled down the corridor when they quickly sensed some movement!

Omega: What was that?

Hondo: It's nothing! Some loose cargo...

At first, they thought it was nothing... Until Hondo is attacked by a small creature who turns out to be the former Ugnaught laborer known as Melch! As Ezra is forced to restrain Melch after trying to attack Hondo, he and the others recognize him!

Ezra: I saw something move! There!

Kaitis: Wait a second...

Eldra: Look out!

Hondo: I am attacked!

Omega: What is that?

Ezra: I got him! I got him!

Kaitis: Wait a minute... Isn't this one of the guys from your crew?

But Zeb noticed that Hondo seemed reluctant to talk about his Ugnaught crew, knowing as well as Ezra does right now that is something up!

Hondo: Hello, Melch... Well, like I said, it's a long, boring story... We should get moving!

But Zeb tells him to hold it, and insists that they have time to hear this!

Zeb: Hold it! I think we have time to hear this...

Seeing that he has little choice, Hondo explained what happened!

Zeb: Azmorigan came to me with a flight plan he'd acquired, an Imperial freighter with a fat cargo and no escort! So, it sounded like an easy score...

Omega frowned, so he attacked an Imperial Ship?

Omega: You attacked an Imperial ship?

Hondo frowned, they do it all the time, which Ezra finds hard to believe these days!

Hondo: We do it all the time!

Ezra: Really? I find that hard to believe...

Hondo blabs on that Zeb should have given them a medal if they had only seen it since it was glorious as Zeb rolled his eyes, asking to skip to the part where it all went wrong!

Hondo: Anyway, you should be giving us a medal! If you'd only seen it... It was glorious...

Zeb: Yeah, yeah, okay... Just skip to the part where it all went wrong!

Getting to the point, Hondo explained that they disabled the Ship with ion mines, but it ended up drifting into this very maelstrom... He then says that his Brave Ugnaughts bravely boarded the ship and most of them were lost in the maelstrom!

Hondo: We disabled the ship with ion mines, but it drifted into this maelstrom. But of course, my brave little Ugnaughts... Look at him! He insisted on trying to board it anyway, but tragically...

Melch however, responds angrily in Ugnaught that Hondo had abandoned them and left them to die!

Melch: (Speaking in Ugnaught!)

Hondo tries to deny ever leaving them for dead and claims that he loves his crew as his short, fragrant family! As a compensation, Hondo offers Melch 2% of the treasure, which the Ugnaught happily accepts!

Hondo: Left you to die? I would never abandon any of my crew... You are like family! Short... Fragrant family!

Melch: (Speaking in Ugnaught!)

Hondo: All right, instead of the 1% you were promised, I will give you two!

Melch: (Speaking in Ugnaught!)

Hondo: You're welcome...

Melch: (Speaking in Ugnaught!)

But Zeb realizes that Hondo only contacted them after he lost his entire crew, meaning that he lied again!

Zeb: So you brought us in only after you'd lost your entire crew trying it yourself!

Ezra: You lied to us! What a surprise... That was sarcasm!

Eldra: Well, he didn't exactly lie! He just didn't tell us the whole truth...

Eldra tries to defend Hondo while also admitting that Hondo could have told them the whole truth as Hondo shrugs it off, he could have done without the passive aggression!

Hondo: Well said! And some of the truth is better than none of the truth, which is what you used to get... So, don't try and tell me that I have not grown! Though I could have done without the passive aggression...

Knowing that he didn't have time for this even though he was visibly angry, Zeb tells Hondo to lead him to the Cargo Hold, vowing that he can always pull the Pirate's limbs later!

Zeb: (Groans) I don't have any time for this! Cargo hold, now! I can pull your limbs off later...

But as Zeb left, Hondo tries to reassure Eldra and Ezra that the Lasat's only kidding!

Hondo: He's always kidding... He's kidding, am I right?

Ezra rolled his eyes, he's never right!

Ezra: First of all, I can never tell... And Second of all, You're never right!
