"y/n, you better not be dressed like that when grayson comes over. you're too exposed." your brother, noah, said as he walked into the living room where you sat comfortably. you looked down at your pink shorts and white singlet. the thought of grayson seeing you in it made your cheeks heat up.
"oh, grayson's coming over? what are you guys gonna eat?" you asked cooly. noah shrugged, sitting next to you and going on his phone. all of a sudden, there was a knock on the front door. noah stood up and scanned your outfit. he quickly threw a small blanket over you and went to open the door.
"grayson, what's up!" you heard noah ask loudly. your eyebrows shot up and you bit your lip to hide your smile. they talked for a while before walking into the living room. your heart skipped a beat when grayson smiled at you.
"hey, y/n." grayson said, sitting next to you. you cheeks turned bright red. you had the biggest crush on him.
"hi, grayson. how are you?" you replied, starting a conversation with him. your brother stood in front of you but his attention was on his phone the entire time.
"i'm gonna get something from my room. be right back." noah said abruptly, running up to his room. you and grayson were all alone.
"so... how's your family?" you asked awkwardly after an awkward silence. grayson noticed your terrible attempt to continue the conversation and smiled at you.
"everyone's good. can i ask you something?" grayson asked cautiously. you nodded curiously. "like, you won't think i'm weird?"
"uust ask me."
"do you have a boyfriend?" he asked, looking anywhere but you. you tilted your head in confusion.
"no i don't." you replied causing grayson to let out a sigh of relief. he mumbled a quiet 'good' which got your attention. "what did you say?"
"oh, nothing."
"do you have a girlfriend?" you asked shyly. grayson shook his head which made you let out a quiet 'good'.
"what?" he asked confusedly.
"nothing." you said quickly, smiling nervously at him. it was silent again. you wondered what was taking noah so long but you hoped he took longer just so you could admire grayson's features longer.
"oh, fuck it. i wanna take you out sometime." grayson said hurriedly. you froze. your mind took a while to process what he just said.
"w-what?" you stuttered. you pinched yourself discretely under the blanket, wondering if this was a dream.
"i wanna take you out sometime. i know your brother's my best friend but i really like you and-"
"yes." you cut him off, smiling widely. grayson smiled back at you, leaning in slightly. you got the memo and leaned in as well, about to close the gap when a loud voice interrupted.
"what the fuck do you think you're doing?"
