FOOD BAZAAR

Summer has officially started and the summer tournament began. It was damn hot in Tokyo and you grimaced as a sweat trickled down in your cleavage. "Damn! Why did I have to enter the team and be a manager?" You grumbled as you carried some of their water bottles. "It's because you love me and can't stand to see me suffer alone" your best friend answered with a grin. You rolled your eyes. "Shouldn't have said yes to your begging. Now I'm actually regretting it" you mumbled and she giggled. "Hey! Don't be like that. Thanks to me you met the love of your life!" She said smirking and you blushed. "Oh shut up" and with that she laughed out loud.

Walking to the field, you placed the water bottles at the dugout and looked out the field. The players were running laps as their cool down. You stared at your boyfriend who's talking to the coach and as if he knew you were staring, he looks at you and smiles. As a reflex, you whipped your head to the side and fanned your blushing face. Oh my god! He caught me staring!!! You pulled your best friend who saw what happened. She just laughed it off. "You're already together for more than a year yet you still act shy towards him" she said laughing at your red face. "Ooh give me a break. Stop it. Let's assemble.  Practice is done" you pulled her to the field.

After a few reminders from coach, the practice ended. You were talking to your fellow managers when Sawamura called for you. You looked back to see him running towards you. "Eijun! Wait! stop!!!" You shrieked as he failed to stop and you both toppled down. "Ouch!" Both of you say and you looked at him with wide eyes. "Eijun?! Did you hurt yourself??? Are you okay???" You panicked. The coach will kill you if he got injured since the team needs him. You were to busy panicking to actually notice both of your positions. You asked him again if he was hurt since he wasn't answering you, he was just staring at you and blushing. "Eijun! Answer me!" You raised your voice as he came back to his senses. he shook his head and you sighed in relief.

The third years and second years glared at Sawamura while Kuramochi ran towards your direction. "I'm fine (f/n)-senpai. Can we go to the-" he was cut off by Kuramochi and the older Kominato pulling him off of you. "What are you doing baka?!" Kuramochi kicked his butt. "Are you comfortable sitting on (f/n) who's laying on the ground?" Ryosuke said slapping the back of his head. "You really are stupid Bakamura! What if you got injured? Nah. What if (f/n)-senpai got injured?!" Miyuki shouted at him. "Eijun-kun please use your head sometimes" the younger Kominato murmured. "Wha?! Even Haruichi?! I'm sorry!!!!" Sawamura shouted.

You sat up and look at the scene in front of you and giggled. Jun was rushing towards a shrieking Sawamura with a bat, Tetsu was just staring at the team like he didn't have a care, Masuko was holding him while Furuya was just slumped in a corner tired from the practice under the scorching sun. A hand came beside you and you saw your boyfriend looking at you with a worried expression. You grabbed his hand as he pulled you up. "Are you okay?" He asked concerned and you nodded. "I'm fine. Uhm.. Is he gonna be alright tho?" You asked looking at a Sawamura who's being beaten by his senpais. "He'll be fine" Chris said kissing your head. You held his hand and smiled at him. "What were you about to say Eijun?" You said trying to rescue your kohai that was crouching on the ground. "Oh! There is a food bazaar near school. Should we all go??" You eyes lit up with the mention of food. Chris chuckled beside you.

"Can we?" You looked at Chris who looked at Tetsu "If the captain agrees then we can go." Tetsu nodded his head. "It's a goreat chance to bond. Let's get ready and meet by the school gates then" everyone nodded and you all went your separate ways to get ready. "I want to eat some takoyaki and some yakisoba" your best friend said and you giggled. "Me too. I'm surely gonna crave for something sweet after" you answered while putting on your uniform. "You really are a glutton but you don't get fat at all!!" She said poking your stomach. "Hey! Stop! That tickles (b/f/n)!" You giggled as she continued to poke your stomach. The both of you finally finished getting ready and went to the school gate. Everyone was already there.

"Let's go!!" Sawamura shouted earning a kick from Kuramochi who was beside him "don't shout near my ear!" Followed by a slap at the back of the head by Ryosuke "Urusai". "Why is it always me?!" Sawamura whispered. " cause you're stupid. That's why" Miyuki said laughing and he pouted. "Don't worry bout them Eijun. Let's go" you said smiling at him and he laughed and pulled a half asleep Furuya. You looked at Furuya's state and looked back at Chris who was enjoying the scene.  "You should've left Furuya to rest" you said and he chuckled "Sawamura was the one who carried him all the way here." You giggled. "Oh Eijun.."

Finally you all arrived at the food bazaar. You were about to pull Chris with you but he held your hand firmly. "Not yet" he said and you pouted. Everyone smiled at you and some chuckled. You have always loved eating, so it's not a rare sight for you to charge at the booths that were present. Yuki cleared his throat "you're all allowed to roam around but don't get into trouble. Always be in a group. We'll be meeting back here at 7. So you still have an hour to go around" with everyone's  'yes captain' you all went your separate ways.

The first years went together followed by the second years cause they knew it would be troublesome if they left them alone, especially Sawamura. Your best friend went with them since she and Nori have been dating for a few weeks. The third years went together except for you and Chris since you both wanted to spend some alone time. You really appreciated that he suggested to spend time with you since it was quite hectic during games, it's been a while since you went on a date. He held your hand and went to the booths that sell your favorite foods. After a while, you both decided to eat at the nearby  park.

Chris texted Yuki and the others while you texted your best friend. Telling them where you both are. Finding a place to sit down, Chris pointed near the big tree where you had your picnic last time. Nodding your head, you both went to the tree and plopped down. He started to open the food that you both bought. "Here. Let's eat the Takoyaki and Yakisoba first." He gave you a pair of chopsticks and the Yakisoba. While he grabbed the Takoyaki. The both of you began eating and at some point you both fed each other. You found that gesture sweet. You were on your own little world when Sawamura suddenly shouted 'there they are!' Which caused you to flinch.

Everyone arrived and began to settle down. It was an enjoyable night. Eating and talking together. Looking at the scene made your eyes water a bit and your heart clenched. Just a few more months till we graduate and everyone will go their separate ways. I'll definitely miss this kind of bonding. You were lost in thought when Chris squeezed your hand knowing what exactly you were thinking. You looked up at him and gave him a small smile. He plopped his head on your shoulder and kissed your neck which sent shivers down your spine.

Chris sighed and you giggled. "What's the matter Yu?" You asked and he smiled sadly "This is the end of our mini date" he grumbled and you smiled. You motioned him to come a bit closer and you kissed his cheek. "Let's go on a proper date next time" you said smiling and he nodded returning your kiss but on the lips. You smiled during the kiss and as you parted, all eyes were on you guys and you blushed while Chris just smiled fondly at you.

*After story*

"Lol got that" (b/f/n) held her phone with a picture of you and Chris kissing. "Hey! Delete that!!" You growled out. "Nope. Not happening!" She laughed. "Send it to me (b/f/n)" Chris added which caused your face to flare up. "Oh my god" you said covering your now red face.

"I want to get a girlfriend too" Kuramochi mumbled. "Lol not happening" Miyuki answered causing him to roar at Miyuki while the sly catcher just laughed. "Miyuki-senpai is right. With that face? It's a miracle if a girl likes you" Sawamura added while eating some Karage. Kuramochi let go of Miyuki and suddenly rushed towards Sawamura with a killing intent. Sawamura was about to run but he was too late. Kuramochi has him in his favorite wrestling position. 

Sawamura was struggling asking for help but the others just ignored him. "Furuya!! Help me!! I was the one who - ack!- carried you all the way here. Ouch!!! Please help meeee" Sawamura pleaded but Furuya who was the nearest from him just raised his eye brow at him and continued eating his food.
