A student with perfect grades, a great manager, is loved and adored by students and was trusted by a lot of teachers? This is no other than, Tadano (f/n), she is the older sister of Inashiro's catcher. To Itsuki's horror, you have seem to catch the eye of the ever proud king, Narumiya Mei. I mean who wouldn't? You were perfect, too good to be true but little did everyone know, you have quite a temper that every time Itsuki thinks about it he has a chill running down his spine.

One day, you were talking to Shirakawa after practice, you were laughing at what he said and Narumiya saw that, he pouted. "She never laughs like that when I talk to her" He grumbled next to his partner. "Why won't you help me Itsuki? I like your sister." The catcher just sighed. "Mei-san you know very well that if she decides something, she'll never back down." The pitcher looked at you and sighed "You're right." Itsuki looked at Mei with wide eyes. It's the first time he backed down without any protests.

"I'll just try harder then" He said while running towards you "(f/n)-chaaaaan!" he called out to you and you sighed "Good luck (f/n)" Shirakawa patted your head and went to Carlos. You groaned and he chuckled. "Yes Narumiya-kun?" You faced him with a smile. "I told you to just call me Mei" He pouted. "Okay Mei-kun. You needed something?" You asked him politely.

"Go on a date with me" You raised an eyebrow and sighed. "I'm sorry but I'll have to decline. Thanks tho" You turned your back at him and went to help the other managers. "Oh? that's rare. Mei being rejected. I feel so refreshed" Carlos appeared next to Mei with Shirakawa "Mei you should stop pestering her everyday" Shirakawa added. The pitcher glared at both of them. "I'll still try my best to get her to have a date with me just once is enough. Even if she has to decline me every single time I'll try my very best" He then turned back to Itsuki and told him to practice with him for a bit.

"Mei sure is stubborn. Isn't he?" Shirakawa muttered. "That what's make him a king I guess. Proud and stubborn" Carlos added and Shirakawa nodded. "Why does (f/n) reject him anyway? I thought she likes him" Carlos asked Shirakawa who's close to you, just shrugged. "Apparently (f/n) doesn't find Mei serious and she doesn't want to get played" Carlos nodded his head. "He does seem to be a player but he had eyes on (f/n) ever since right? That's why he doesn't have a girlfriend." Shirakawa just nodded and walked towards you as he saw you carrying something heavy.

Carlos smiled at you and Shirakawa and shook his head "You too are in love with her huh Shirakawa?" he muttered under his breath and began to walk towards the other players who were still swinging their bats. Narumiya saw you and Shirakawa again and frowned. "Itsuki am I that bad? that she would decline me every time?" Itsuki looked towards where the pitcher was looking and sighed. "Mei-san my sister is the type of person who would push you away if she doesn't trust you. You should earn her trust first. don't you think?" He looked at Itsuki and nodded.

"Don't worry Mei-san. She and Shirakawa are just good friends" He comforted his partner and Mei just sighed "Friends huh?" Friends my ass. Shirakawa seems interested with her too. His eyes soften and he would smile more when he's with her. You saw him looking at you and you gave him a smile and bowed. You went on your way back to the dorms. You ate dinner with the managers, took a bath and fell asleep.

Morning came and you had another letter on your shoe locker. Sighing, you brought it with you and went to your classroom. The letter says, he would like to meet you at the back of the building. You didn't notice Shirakawa was behind you reading the letter too. When you sighed and leaned back, you felt your head pressed against something hard.

You looked up to see Shirakawa. "I'm sorry" He shrugged "another love letter I see" You nodded. "Gonna reject him?" You smiled "Yeah. you know who I like right?" he just gave you a small smile. Of course he knew and that was one of the reasons he doesn't want to confess and he doesn't want to ruin the friendship he has with you too.
