TANTRUMS

Inashiro has just finished a game and they won. You were carrying some of their things to the bus when saw your cousin, Sanada Junpei, he was the son of your father's older sister. So you went over to him and of course kissed his cheek as a greeting and started to catch up with each other since you barely saw him anymore when he left home to stay at the school dorm.

Narumiya was searching for you when he saw it and was furious seeing his girlfriend kissing another guy and she has a cute expression on her face too. In his eyes the pitcher of Yakushi was flirting with you and you were all giggles. He finally snapped when Sanada hugged you and you hugged him back. He stomped over to where you are and pulled you forcefully, surprising the both of you.

"What the hell (f/n)?! Flirting with another guy?? Seriously?!" He shouted at you and you looked at him like he was crazy. "Am I not enough? What have I done wrong??" You just looked at him waiting for his tantrum to finish. "Wait! You prefer black than blonde! That's it right?!" You rolled your eyes. "Should I dye my hair black? No no no. It's because of my height! I'm short and he's tall. That's the reason right?! Right?!" He began shaking you. Mei and his tantrums.

Rolling your eyes, you sighed and slapped his hands away. "Are you finished with your little moment Mei?" He shook his head. "One last thing." He turned to Sanada and glared at him. "Let's duel! One on one! May the best pitcher win and claim the prize!" He stated and you both titled your head. "What prize?" Sanada asked confused. He then pointed at you. "Duh! (F/n) is the prize!" You stared at him with wide eyes and glared.

"What the fu-" you didn't finish your sentence when Sanada laughed out loud. "What's so funny?" Narumiya asked scowling at the pitcher. "(F/n) you really have your hands full huh?" You nodded. "You got that right Shun-nii". Narumiya looked back and forth between you two.

"Shun-nii?" He repeated and you nodded your head. "Let me introduce my cousin. This is Sanada Shunpei, my first cousin, the son of my father's older sister. Shun-nii this idiot right here is my boyfriend, Narumiya Mei" Sanada was holding back his laughter while Narumiya looked lost.

"Now do you get it?" He nodded his head and you pulled him with you. "then I'll see you soon shun-nii. We'll be going now or else Masa-san will get mad at both of us" you waved good bye to your cousin and went separate ways. Narumiya was quiet the whole walk to the bus.

"I-I'm sorry... I kinda over reacted like an idiot..." Mei muttered and you smiled. "Well you're my idiot so it's fine" he stopped in his tracks and you turned back to him. "What's the matter Mei?" He suddenly hugged you and buried his face on your neck. "Please don't cheat on me" you giggled. "Of course not. You maybe a handful but I only love you and no one else." You patted his head.

"That's a promise. Okay?" He peeked from your neck and you giggled. "Yeah. Promise" he sighed and kissed your forehead. Holding your hand, you both proceeded to the bus. Let's say the coach gave you an earful for losing track of time and making the team wait while Narumiya got na earful from Masa-san who was embarrassed from what he heard from other players who witnessed what happened earlier.

You sighed and went to sit next to Carlos. "Ugh the coach really gave me an earful" he smiled. "My condolences then" you giggled and lightly slap his shoulder.

"Aaah!! Not again! Your cheating on me with a black haired boy again! Do you have some kind of fetish with black hair?!" Narumiya screeched and you just rolled your eyes.

"Stop being a drama queen Mei" Masa-san hit him at the back of his head.

"Shut up and sit down" Coach warned him.

"But (f/n) is being lovey dovey with Carlos" Mei muttered.

"Idiot" Shirakawa mumbled from the seat in front of you.

"(F/n)'s idiot" Carlos smirked at you.

You shook your head with a smile.

"Yeah. My idiot" you said smiling while looking at Narumiya having another tantrum while the team just ignored him.

~A/N: I really love Mei. He can be a little dramatic and throw tantrums here and there but he is one of my favorite pitchers in Diamond no Ace aside from Sawamura and Sanada ❤️
