Lu Youjing singaled the maids to take care of his mother as he walked hastily trying to catch up with Lu Jingxing.

"Lu Jingxing what did you talk with Dad?" Lu Youjing couldn't help but ask, these past few days his dad kept wanting to taking Lu Jingxing back and that made her mom and grandma very angry.

"You don't have to worry about that after all I have no interest with it" Lu Jingxing's words made Lu Youjing confused.

Lu Jingxing is the type of person that likes for show fake smiles and has a cold playful personality yet he wasn't the type of guy to lie.

"Tell me more" Lu Youjing forcefully grabbed Lu Jingxing's arm.

"Why don't you ask your old man after all he's the one that knows most of the details not me after all aren't I just an illegitimate child?" Lu Jingxing replied as he took Lu Youjing's hand off him.

Ever since that day Cadenza and Prince Illycht didn't talk and was avoiding each other.

But now Cadenza have no choice but to face him since the Headmaster told her to give him some important files.

Prince Illycht was sitting on his desk typing on his laptop when Cadenza walked towards him and left some files on his desk.

"Wait" Prince Illycht stood up and grabbed Cadenza's hand.

"..." Cadenza didn't reply and just simply avoided him.

"I'm sorry for what I said I know I was such a jerk that time" Prince Illycht spoke in a gentle and sorry tone.

"Seven years ago do you remember saving a little girl drowning?" Cadenza asked still refusing to meet his eyes.

"Yes that little girl had a very cute doll-like face and a blonde......hair" Prince Illycht widened his eyes as he reminiscing his old memories and noticed the resemblance of the little girl towards Cadenza.

Cadenza turned her head and revealed a painful smile.

"It took me great efforts to come here just to see you again but all I received was cold shoulder" Cadenza's tone held disappointment.

"Have a good day Your highness" Cadenza tried to pull her arm back but it was tightly gripped by Prince Illycht.

"I just want to tell you that you shouldn't confuse your feelings of gratitude and love towards me" Prince Illycht spoke in a calm and gentle manner he loosened his grip and caressed Cadenza's head with a gentle smile.

"You noticed?"

"Silly girl your eyes can't contain all your affections no matter how much you hide it I can still notice it" Prince Illycht spoke.

As a person who came from the Royal family he was well aware of different gazes towards him.

He was used to it and reading people's gazes is a child's play to him.

"But I'm afraid I can't respond to your feelings after all....." Prince Illycht smiled lightly.

"Its Vivian isn't it?" Cadenza bitterly smiled.

The door suddenly opened and Vivian was shocked as she saw Prince Illycht patting Cadenza's head her sudden appearance caught Cadenza and Prince Illycht's attention.

"I'm sorry for disturbing!" Vivian immediately closed the door and left.

Prince Illycht pulled back his hand and strode towards the door leaving Cadenza in the room.

Cadenza stared at Prince Illycht's desk, there was a cup of tea beside the stack of papers Cadenza slowly walked towards it and reached for the cup. Cadenza raised the cup and smelled the scent of tea instantly her phoenix eyes darkened.

Ever since the Black District's incident the underworld society went quiet.....too quiet to be exact and there were no matters that she could handle since her brother could take care of it.

Well if she were them she'll just also shut up since her brother has a bad temper and when he burst out in anger it'll be like a huge calamity swallowing up the world.

"Ford cover for me" Cadenza whispered as she secretly snucked out of her room.

Ford sighed no matter how much the young master tries to restrained his precious baby sister the young miss will always find ways to free herself.

Cadenza was dressed in a red hoodie, a black cargo pants and a baseball cap hiding her long blonde hair while covering her head with the hood. She was wearing a chest binder to look more like a boy since she's going to a dangerous place exposing her identity as a girl would only bring her endless trouble.

It was night and Cadenza only used a bike to go to Lu Jingxing's place.

"Cadenza!!!!" Ivan ran towards her as he circled around her.

"You didn't bring food?" Ivan spoke disappointingly.

Cadenza laughed with his cute behavior as she patted his head.

"Ivan said you guys are going to beat the sh¡t out of Eagle clan and it would be a waste for me to miss out the fun" Cadenza smilingly spoke.

"Ivan!!!!!" Lu Jingxing angrily shouted.

"Fine you can come with us on one condition" Lu Jingxing stated as he raised his index finger near Cadenza's face with an ambiguous smile plastered on his handsome face.

"Why are these guys so rich and you are so poor despite being on the same level" Cadenza asked as she pointed on the black fancy built warehouse with two eagle patterns boldly painted on both doors.

"Damn do you really have to point it out?" Ivan replied.

Lu Jingxing signaled his fingers as the gang surrounded Cadenza and held her on both arms.

"We are sorry miss Cadenza it's all big bro Xing's orders" the gang spoke in a very sorry tone.

"Damn you Lu Jingxing this isn't part of the deal" Cadenza angrily spoke as she stared at Lu Jingxing while being tied on the pole.

"The deal is you can stay and watch this is just a security measurement" Lu Jingxing teased as he patted Cadenza's face.

"You sure this thing can restrain me?" Cadenza provoked.

"I swear if you move from that place you're so dead" Lu Jingxing replied as his gaze sharpened.

"If I go with you guys against the Eagle clan wouldn't I also be dead? Since I'll be dead either way shouldn't I choose the one which I fought bravely along with you guys?" Cadenza dramatically stated.
