"Cadenza you aren't mistaken what you said make sense. It's just Vivian knows too much tricks attracting men to her side" Nicolette patted Cadenza's shoulder gently.

"Cousin it seems like this can't be ignored for too long after all both of our Salvador and Pricia family relies on your engagement if it'll be broken because of a certain dirt then the bond of our two families will only disperse" Nicolette reminded Colleen.

Both Salvador and Pricia family have a good relationship with each other and a marriage pact had been formed. It was said that if their children will be both boy and a girl an engagement must be made. Unfortunately each generation both descendants of each family will be either both girls and boys at the same time so their marriage pact still haven't been fulfilled but it seems like the heavens must have heard their prayers and finally responded.

When they found out that one of them had a son and the other a daughter both families immediately held a grand party inviting all people in the high society.

If Axel would suddenly oppose to their engagement because of Vivian then it means that the Pricia family has broken their promise first and of course it'll affect the relationship of both families. The Salvador family can't just ignore such audacity it was the Pricia family whom proposed the idea it'll be also them who would go back on their words. If that really happens then in the Salvador family's minds in the eyes of the Pricia family they're treated as a mere joke.

Colleen was about to stood up and walk towards Axel and Vivian but Cadenza immediately stopped her.

"If you're thinking of walking towards them and causing a scene it'll only make you bad in Axel's eyes and loose your cool won't it be favorable in Vivian's side? Not only that his highness's protection towards her isn't to be underestimated by going against her means going against His Highness's words not only that you'll also be belittling the Royal family" Cadenza spoke as she took a sip from her glass.

"What do you have in mind?" Colleen faced Cadenza.

She didn't expect this little girl to be so keen and insightful no wonder her cousin took her under her wing.

Axel didn't expect his childhood friend/fiancee that has always been acting so willful and arrogant to be confronting him calmly despite all the rumors that has been encircling around the school about him and Vivian.

When he heard that Colleen returned to Titus and enrolled to the Royal Academy he expected her to make trouble towards Vivian.

Yet right now she was facing him with a solemn and a painful expression.

"Axel how long has it been since we've known each other?" Colleen showed a painful smile as she spoke with a weak voice.

"It has been 13 years" Axel spoke with his calm voice.

"You know I've always liked to see your beautiful dark blue hair but it seems it's going to be the last time..I'll be seeing it" Colleen hesitantly touched Axel's hair.

"I know your feelings towards me is like a childhood friend and my existence can't even compare to that Vivian's" Colleen then pointed at Axel's chest.

"Your heart has already accepted her the same heart you've always barely let me enter. You know how long these past few years I've been longing to see you? But now that I was able to see you again instead of ecstasy it was pain that welcomed me" Colleen spoke as she wiped her tears as she forced to smile as she spoke.

Axel thought that it was one of her tactics to pull him closer.

"What are you trying to say?" Axel asked as he grabbed her wrist.

"What I'm trying to say is I'm tired to chasing after you..after all it has always been me that was always been begging for your attention! But after all these years did you even spare me a little bit of it?" Colleen cried out all her pain and sadness.

Axel bit his lips with guilt, it's true since they were still kids it has always been her that was seeking for his attention and he was the center of her universe so he has never cared nor spared any effort to seek for her attention since he was already used to the fact that all her attention was poured towards him. But a few years ago her parents decided to transfer her to abroad to pave a better future for Colleen.

And his life has been peaceful since then, too peaceful to be exact that sometimes he also longed for her existence. Then he met Vivian the exact opposite of her, she wasn't the type like most girls to like attention from him instead she prefers to be low key and blend in the crowd. She captured his interest and the more time he spent with her the more things he learned about her.

Noticing his silence Colleen cried harder.

"See?.. you can't even answer a mere question...Do you even know how much that question mattered to me?! All this time it's just been me being obsessed with you. This engagement we'll just call it off.. I wish both you and Vivian happiness" Colleen walked away leaving Axel standing still with a pale face, guilt is written all over his face.

"Colleen!!" Nicolette glared at Axel for a second before she dashed towards her cousin.

"You know how lucky you are?" Cadenza's voice rang.

Axel immediately faced at the owner of the voice and was quite surprised.

"You were born to one of the most wealthiest family in the high society, you don't need to worry about the things others do such as your needs and wants since it has already been provided by your parents. You've been engaged with a beautiful and a talented fiancee who loved you dearly and came from a powerful family. What could be perfect than the path your parents painstakingly pave for you? As the only heir to the Pricia family aren't you quite favored and loved by your parents? But have you ever been asked anything in return other than marrying a daughter in law that they had already arranged for you" Cadenza's voice was ambiguous it was like hitting all Axel's sore spots.

"In Colleen's heart it has always been you, in your heart it has always been Vivian but in Vivian's heart...who's the true one that's inside her heart? Don't you always been baffled with this question? After all you are not the only person that has her in your heart. Have you ever asked her about whose the person she liked among the four of you? She can't answer right?" Cadenza's spoke as she walked closer to Axel.

Axel couldn't clearly comprehend her tone if Cadenza wasn't sounding caring and over protective of Colleen he would thought that she was ridiculing him.

Hearing his silent response she laughed lightly with a 'disappointed' look written in her face, she guessed right.

"I know you want an answer...then I'll be glad to give you. Its because she is still weighing in her heart who's the most capable man that could fulfil her needs and desires don't you notice her expressions as she received gifts and being touched by your deeds? The more you compete for her affection the more she became greedy. Her expressions and words became sweeter and lovelier as she receive more of it, don't you agree?" Cadenza spoke as she harshly pointed at Axel's chest with her angry tone as if she was defending Colleen against Vivian.
