Cadenza: Daughter of the Villainess is Poisonous XLII

"Young Miss" Ford entered and saw Cadenza comfortably lying on her soft bed with a solemn look not fitting her age.

Mostly girls in her age are self-conscious about their appearance, they would like to shop around in a mall and hangout with their friends. Yet his young miss was a bit more complicated.....she was way too mature, shrewd and has a thousand faces she can easily change her facade infront of many people and wrap them in her hands.

She has no interest in things girls in her age mostly do his young miss can't even differentiate a concealer from foundation and couldn't even bear to wear powder in her face.

Cadenza recieved a several handful albums Ford gave her and a file containing Lu Jingxing's background, Cadenza merely glance at it and was able to catch a few interesting things about him.

It turns out he was an illegitimate son of the mighty Lu family, Lu Youjing's half brother. He lived a terrible life under his stepmom and grandmother so he moved out when he was 13 that's when he met Ivan who's also a loner. Both of them stayed at streets and encountered gangs whom they can't escape from that's when they learned how to survive.

Eventually their lives changed when they decided to join a gang and was able to form their own clan. Of course things weren't that smooth and both of them encountered many bumps on the way fortunately they had someone that would occasionally put them out of trouble.

Lu Jingxing's life when he was still living in the streets was more lively and interesting then his father decided to step in and put him on survey.

Since Lu Jingxing was still a child of a rich family he was still forced to go to a school because of his father, Mr Lu, was the one behind it. Even though the school wasn't as grand as the school his legitimate son goes it was still one of the schools that participates in the School Championships.

Lu Jingxing knows what his father was planning all along, his father even tried to trick him that he was doing it for his future in which Lu Jingxing scoffed with distaste. His father was planning to make him a stepping stone for Lu Youjing in which Lu Jingxing wanted to sabotage that's why he was always slacking and cutting classes in school.

As for the albums in her hands Cadenza immediately opened them all at once turning the pages at the same time. At last something has caught her eyes it was a picture of her Hahaue when she was young standing beside the young faces of her uncles in the mafia....her Uncle Jean, Tyrone, Wilbur and her Uncle Collin.

Ivan's face was exactly the same as the youngerself of her Uncle Collin's. Now to think of it Ivan's name was so similar with her Uncle Collin's last name which was Ivanov and the fact that he had once a lover in his prime yet it didn't work out between the two of them.

She must not jump to conclusions she should confirm this first.

"Ford ask some men to collect some strands of Uncle Collin's hair when he gets a haircut" Cadenza still looking at the picture.

"Yes" Ford replied as he went out.

Cadenza didn't stay for long in Iggenmen and immediately went back to Titus.

"*Dun dun*!!!!" a very loud knock could be heard on the metal door.

Lu Jingxing was bothered by the sound and immediately opened the door to see the person that was knocking against the door. Usually if it was their members they would immediately enter the building without any hesitantation if it were other clans looking for trouble they would either shout or throw rocks on the window so it might be a guest and having guests are rare especially in their rundown place.

Lu Jingxing stared at Cadenza's smiling face holding paper bags with delicious smells of food.

"*Bang!*" Lu Jingxing slammed the door not giving any face to Cadenza.

"*Dun dun dun!!!!!*" Cadenza knocked even louder.

Ivan stared at Lu Jingxing with a curious gaze.

"Who's knocking?"

"Someone you shouldn't bother with" Lu Jingxing replied as he walked passed Ivan.

"What a moody person.....but it smells delicious I bet the person outside came to bring food" Ivan mumbled to himself as he opened the door.

When he saw Cadenza a smile immediately appeared on his face.

"Cadenza what an unexpected visit....no wonder it smells delicious food" Ivan looked at the huge paper bag Cadenza was holding and immediately took it from her hand.

"Come in come in....I apologize for Lu Jingxing's rude behavior" Ivan spoke as he hugged the paper bag like his own child.

He really likes food

Cadenza chuckled as she entered.

"What brings you here anyway?" Ivan asked raising his brow.

"I was bored and don't know where to go and this was the first place that got in my mind" Cadenza replied with a charming smile.

"So don't you have school?"

"There's nothing much going on in school so I took a few days of absents how about you?" Cadenza asked Ivan.

"I go to the same school as Lu Jingxing to accompany him but it seems like he doesn't have much interest in school" Ivan replied with a small laugh.

"Cadenza!" the members of the gang waved at Cadenza with big smiles on their faces.

"Hello" Cadenza waved back at them.

And now they're friends?

Lu Jingxing snorted distastefully after years knowing these guys it was his first time seeing them enthusiastically with bright smiles plastered on their faces.

Just by looking at them creeps him out Lu Jingxing wasn't used seeing their faces with such expression then his gaze turn towards Cadenza. Lu Jingxing can't really see her intentions behind her smiling facade like an innocent little girl's is that of malicious person yet he can't really pin point any reason for Cadenza to come in their place.

Isn't she aware that coming here is dangerous?

Lu Jingxing thought as she stared at Cadenza.
