"Ughhhhh!!! I was such a fool!!" Cadenza buried her face on her pillow with a distressed look.

She couldn't just stop herself from speaking too much in front of Prince Illycht.

He was already far away and now she just pushed him further. She couldn't just stand it when he get so over protective towards Vivian.

One of Cadenza's pet white tigers came closer towards her and lovingly cuddled Cadenza wanting to get her attention. Cadenza then gently caressed it's head her mood improved greatly.

"Worrying won't help so I'll just resort to action" Cadenza spoke.

Since Cadenza and Soarin was already exempted from the third quarterly exams there's no really need to attend classes until the exams are over. The Headmaster has already approved of their absence since the two already had their grades fixed when they won the contest although they didn't won as the year's champion at least they did their best.

The things that Cadenza and Soarin studied preparing for the contest was three times more than the things they have to study in the exam so it was understandable.

Cadenza went out to explore the city with Ford since Winston and Salvatore were handling some matters in the mafia so they weren't here to accompany her. She got to admit she missed those two lately the mansion was getting lonely without their presence.

That's because only the two of them were making all the troubles and noises inside the house and there's no day that the two of them won't have something to fight over.

"I'd like to spend the day alone I'll call later" Cadenza spoke as she faced Ford seriously.

Noticing Ford's hesitant gaze Cadenza sighed.

"Don't worry I have my 'token' no one would dare touch me" Cadenza then got out of the car and walked around the streets.

She was wearing a black ankle boots with heels, a high waist black plaid pleated skirt, a black shirt and a black kimono cardigan robe printed with cherry blossoms.

Where ever Cadenza go she was the center of attention. She wanted to blend in with the people and wore the most plainest clothes in her closet and she still got attention from people around her. Cadenza doesn't even know the place she was walking to and continued to walk aimlessly passing one street to another.

She just wanted to clear her mind.

Cadenza found herself wondering around a street filled with houses, the houses were simple not huge and yet not too small that's when Cadenza realized she has already wondered off the city.

She looked at her watch and noticed that it was already lunch time. Cadenza has been walking for four hours already and she just felt her feet hurting from nwalking too much.

"Hey look what've got here a pretty lil chick!" a group of thugs came closer towards Cadenza.

Cadenza could see some of them who wore lesser clothes had an eagle tattoo imprinted on their skins. She didn't expect she would run towards trouble so soon.

The thugs surrounded Cadenza blocking all possible ways for her to escape. The passerbys could only look at Cadenza with pity who doesn't know the fact that whoever dares to go against the Eagle Clan would only end up miserable. There are many people who tried to and end up terribly Cadenza couldn't also blame them in fact she felt pity towards them who would blame them being born with such small guts.

"Little girl just come with us willingly and we won't hurt you" one of the guys spoke as he laughed dirtily.

"Pretty girl Just follow us and we'll treat you 'gently' "

Maybe they should be the one who should follow me and I'll let them see how I'll treat them 'gently' as I will watch them as Ford dig out their eyes and cut their tongues.

Cadenza thought as she stared at them blankly she prepared her fists. If no one will save her then she'll save herself.

This young miss is no damsel in distress!!

"Aren't you guys ashamed of yourselves? Putting a girl in a difficult situation...also there are like ten of you surrounding her and forcing her to come with you isn't this too unfair?" A voice suddenly rang and a young man revealed himself, his hair was light brown, his eyes were yale blue cold and sharp.

A smirk was plastered on his handsome face.

"And who are you?" one of the thugs asked.

"Me? I'll be the one who is going to kick your ass" the young man immediately threw a powerful kick on one of the thugs making him land on the ground as he crouched down in pain.

"This little punk!!"

The thugs immediately rushes towards the young man ready to pulverize him with their fists yet the young man was calm...more like excited.

Cadenza originally wanted to handle them herself yet someone volunteered to do it for her then why not accept it and watch on the sidelines. In Cadenza's opinion even though his moves were a little bit rusty yet he was fast and each strike he made is packed with strength.

"We'll hunt you down!!!" the guy who seemed to be the leader spoke while lying down the ground with a swollen face.

"Oh? But before that worry about your own face" the young man laughed as he pinched the guy's swollen face.

The young man then turned to face Cadenza with a cheeky grin then his face froze for a second.

Isn't this the same girl that Lu Jingxing was 'interested'?

The young man was none other than Ivan, Lu Jingxing's sworn brother. Lu Jingxing the same person who got his interest perked up as he sat on a tree watching Cadenza acting like a victim infront of those bullies and crushed them with the footage in her hands.

Ivan's expression became more cheerful as he walked towards Cadenza in a friendly manner as if he didn't beat up anyone a second ago.

"How about treating me and my friends lunch as a thanks?" Ivan shamelessly spoke he expected Cadenza to be creeped out and ran away.

"Sure I'm also hungry you know a place with nice food?" Cadenza replied.
