Alice's pov
"Alice! Have you seen the news?" Cheryl asks me.
She looks tired, eyes puffy and swollen.
"She's been crying again, hasn't she?" Ben rhetorically questions.
"She'll be okay, Ben. Don't worry, it's just a break up." Ella whispers to him.
"No, I haven't. What happened?" I grab the daily prophet from her hands.
"There has been a Death Eater attack at the Quidditch World Cup."
I look at the paper, pictures of burnt tents, of people with masks and of the dark mark are shown.
There was terror done there, fire was everywhere.
And of course, the dark mark in the sky's showing it is in fact Death Eaters.
I can't help but think that my friends' families did it.
