She went towards the basket and found a letter, "I brought these up for you since the guards outside told me you had forgotten them. I have to go see our Sultan but I have left something in one of the chests near the other side of the room. I hope you see this early on in the day." -Tapar

Aiyla smiled and picked up one of the roses as she walked to the chests that Tapar addressed in the letter so she could check them.

She looked through the first one and didn't find anything new.

As she opened the next chest, she saw that on the very top was something unfamiliar that was wrapped up.

Aiyla sat on the bed as she opened it up, it was a red veil.

The beautiful red veil looked elegant and it was accompanied with a dress that matched it. A letter was in here as well.

She picked it up to read it, "I couldn't say this out loud yet so I thought a letter was my best way to tell you everything that I want to tell you. I wasn't sure if I even had a right to do so but I keep remembering your words. I'm not doing this out of pity or guilt. Over the time that has passed by, I kept ignoring my thoughts and emotions towards you, as it started growing slowly, it has become hard for me to let my emotions remain hidden. Our relationship didn't really start on the best terms, I hurt you and didn't think about what you might have wanted initially. For that, I'm very sorry. Tonight, I'd like to begin our actual marriage, a new beginning. I'd like to use my hands to lift up your wedding veil. I want to start a fresh chapter. You grabbed my attention the moment I saw you that early morning when we met by the water. Something pulled me but I tried to avoid the pull. You are different in a sense. You don't pressure me into ambitious heights but remain there in case I were to fall. You don't ridicule my emotions but you remain open to them. You take in my emotions and words, with you I feel less responsible. I feel burden free. I feel a type of freedom that I never felt before whenever I'm with you, and this freedom might not be what's suitable for me as the Sultan's son, but as Tapar, I deem it to be great. In the end, whatever you decide is what will end up happening. I will respect whatever choice you end up deciding, but just now, I have begun to care greatly about you. Aiyla if you think this is too much then just ignore the letter and everything. I want this but only if you agree with it, don't feel obligated to agree unless your heart agrees with every word I have written in this letter." -Tapar

Aiyla wiped a tear away, Tapar was honest with her in a damn letter and she can't even tell him that she's ill.

She looked down at the veil and dress that was on her lap, her heart was telling her to do what she wanted while her mind was ordering her to do something entirely different.

Attachment was the worst thing Aiyla needed to suffer from right now, though she loved him, she knew it would be easier for him to let go of her if nothing happened between them both.

But here he is, trying to make this marriage more than what he had intended for it to be.

She wasn't sure anymore on what to decide, she didn't want to be selfish with her decision.
