you and kirill met at a team party that you attended with your brother cam talbot.
some alcohol was in use and the next morning you woke up in kirill's bed. the rest of it is history because you and him were still together to this day.
the only thing that was tricky was that cam had no clue. he was absolutely oblivious to the relationship that you had with his teammate, but only because you and kirill were so good at hiding it from him.
"you have practice today?" you asked kirill.
kirill shook his head, "no i get to spend my day with you today."
you smiled and kissed his lips.
it would be quite normal that you were staying with kirill whenever possible. you both wanted to spend as much time together as possible.
"so what do you want to do today my love?" you asked him.
kirill thought for a minute, "do you want to go to lunch at that one restaurant that you like?" he asked.
your eyes enlarged, "yes please." you said quickly.
kirill smiled and chuckled like a little kid at your excited reaction.
"then we are going there." kirill said.
kirill picked you up off the couch and brought you into the bedroom to change. you were both still in your pajamas so it was necessary.
kirill smiled at you as he slipped on the same shoes that you had on.
"we are going to match baby." he said.
you smiled gently and kissed his chin, "perfect."
hand in hand, you stepped out of kirill's place and went to his car to drive to your favorite restaurant in st. paul.
you excitedly squeezed kirill's hand as you moved towards the door of the restaurant.
"you excited?" kirill asked.
you nodded quickly with the smile he thought made him fall in love even more.
the big smile on your face immediately fell when you sat down and spotted cam walking towards you.
you looked around and saw that your brother and his family were also here, but sadly cam had spotted you before you could spot him.
"fuck." you mumbled under your breath and clutched kirill's hand under the table hard.
"kirill, y/n." cam nodded at you and kirill.
"hey cam." you answered.
"can i talk to you in private?" he asked.
you could tell that a ball was forming in your throat that was going to make it hard to talk without having a full breakdown.
you and your brother went outside the restaurant.
"what's that?" he said and signaled back inside the restaurant.
"cam..." you started with a weak voice.
"y/n." he said sternly.
"kirill is my boyfriend." you mumbled out.
cam sighed loudly and what you would consider dramatically, but you wouldn't tell him that now.
"how long?"
"5 months." you choked out.
the tears raised into your eyes as you saw the face of dissatisfaction on cam.
you loved kirill and did not want this to screw up the relationship you had with your brother.
"why didn't you tell me?" cam asked, "that's what i'm most mad about. do you not trust me?"
you sniffled gently and wiped your eyes in hopes that cam didn't see your tears, "i was afraid that you were going to be really mad. i'm sorry i just didn't want to ruin my relationship with you or kirill. i love you both too much."
cam looked at you for a while and moved closer to hug you close to his body.
"don't cry y/n/n. please don't cry." he repeated to you.
"i'm sorry. i was just scared." you cried gently into his chest.
"i know. it's a hard place to be."
cam let you cry it out for a little bit in his arms before kirill came out.
cam passed you to him knowing that he would probably make you feel better quicker.
"don't cry baby. i will talk to cam." kirill said.
you nodded and watched as kirill and cam stepped away to have a little conversation together.
you couldn't help but feel hopeful when kirill walked over with a giddy smile on his face.
"you're all set y/n. i threatened him and now we are good." cam joked, "but no, i think you guys are really nice together so get back to your date. treat my sister well kaprizov."
kirill smiled and took you back inside.
"i ordered you your favorite. it should be here soon." kirill told you and kissed your hand.
