SITTING DOWN NEXT TO JADE, SAM COULDN'T HELP BUT NOTICE A SAD LOOK ON HER FACE. he also noticed blaine with that exact face. he frowned, knowing that something was up with his girlfriend and his best friend.
reaching over to grab jade's hand, sam kissed her temple, making her smile lightly. "what's wrong?"
she looked at him confused. "what?"
before sam could ask her again, mr. schue and finn entered the choir room. "all right, guys, listen up. i have an announcement to make."
"adele is dd." brittany said, receiving confused looks from everyone.
"no. i have been asked to join a blue ribbon panel to rewrite the arts curriculum nationwide."
everyone cheered for their teacher, clapping. "wow! congratulations, mr. schue." jade said.
"thank you. i'll be taking a shot sabbatical, which means i'm leaving mckinley at the end of the week." mr. schue announced, making all his students gasped in shock.
"but glee club is you life."
"which is why this is only temporary. i'll be back right after sectionals." as everyone started to argue, mr. schue calmed them down. "guys, guys, calm down. look, i knew i needed a replacement, which is why i brought finn hudson."
jade seemed to be the only excited to have finn as their teacher, as she was the only one who clapped quietly, making finn smile that someone was supporting him.
"mr. schue, finn cannot take over glee club. he doesn't know what he's doing at all. sorry, finn." artie said.
"guys, i know i can do this. and i've got some really great ideas for sectionals." he said, trying to lighten up the mood.
"we'll all be dead by then!"
"tina." jade said in shock. "finn is a great leader and he's gonna do great while mr. schue is gone. whatever finn chooses for sectionals, i think we'll win."
finn couldn't help but smile at his best friend. jade was proud of him that he was doing something she knew he loved, and that was coaching the glee club while mr. schue was gone.
"finn doesn't know how to direct a musical!"
"who's going to drive the bus?" sugar said out of the blue.
