Namjoon didn't think it would hurt this much. All he did was asked for one more chance and he ends up getting stab with a memory he tried so hard to forget. Since the incident last night, things between them got even awkward but strangely weird as well. Awkward because they're classmates so avoiding each other entirely is out of the question, while the weird part consist of the two males giving each other glances when the latter isn't looking. Meanwhile, Jin could barely concentrate on the lecture since he couldn't sleep last night. Thoughts of Namjoon crying kept replaying in his mind like a endless loop and he ended up crying to sleep for being a straight up asshole. He could still hear Hoseok's word haunting him till now and it certainly wasn't pleasant.
"Do you have any idea what you just said?!"
"I-I'm sorry, I was mad and-"
"For Christ sake hyung, just because you're angry with him doesn't mean you should act like an asshole! Mentioning his mother was completely unnecessary and you went too far this time. This isn't like you and you better go apologize to him tomorrow!"
He heaves a sigh and spent the remaining of lecture planning out his apology, burying half of his face in his hands. The guilt is becoming unbearable. The lecture comes to an end and students started piling out of the door, eager to fill their stomach with some food before their next class. Namjoon calmly organized his books into his bag without sparing a glance at the elder next to him and heads for the door, trying to mask his sullen face. He couldn't sleep a wink last night because he kept blaming himself for Jin's behavior, so he's looking forward to snooze for a couple of minutes at the library but that meant walking up the long stairs. He wanted to cry.
Was it his fault that Jin got angry? A question he couldn't stop thinking about since he woke up this morning. Maybe if he hadn't pester Jin to answer the question regarding the kissing issue, he wouldn't have gotten angry at him. But Namjoon could only worry a bit more since he was the one who decided to come over to apologize but he ended up making things worse. But he didn't expect for the other to despise him to the point where the latter would want his existence gone. The thought felt like a blow to his heart and with a heavy heart, he strolls up the stairs and quietly went inside the resting room for a quick nap, hoping to sleep away the pain.
Meanwhile, Jin is looking for Namjoon for the past 20 minutes now on a empty stomach. He didn't head straight to the cafeteria after class because the moment he completed his apology speech inside his head, Namjoon had already left the classroom. His stomach growl again and he tries to ignore it as he continues to search for his ex lover. A call would've been so much faster but he completely forgot to charge it the night before and now he's starting to work up a sweat from all this speed walking. His stomach protested for the nth time and he caves, walking to the cafeteria in hopes of finding him there.
It's been an hour already and Jin still couldn't find the taller male, increasing his frustration. He spent the whole morning just thinking about Namjoon and it annoyed him because the latter is now occupying inside his mind. Seung-hyun texted him the other night as well but he didn't even notices until this morning so he has to go talk with him after school to clear up any doubts his boyfriend was having. He gently pat his swollen eyes and blinked profusely due to a lack sleep, chewing his lunch slowly while his eyes darts across the room for a particular male.
To his surprise, he spots a shorter male with black hair and chubby cheeks across the room and an idea appeared in his mind. Not thinking much of it, he quickly swallows the last bite of his Subway sandwich, and immediately scurried over to the shorter male. Once he got near, he sat in front of the short boy and observes those eyes growing comically wide. "S-Seokjin-hyung!" Aside from him, Yoongi also stared at him in shock, his noodles stopping midway in the air.
"Hi, I know we haven't spoken in a long time but I need to ask you guys something," Jin stares at them for an answer, watching the two give each other a confused look before they cast their food aside.
"O-oh, um sure. What is it that you need, hyung?" Jimin asked, blinking confusedly.
"Have you guys seen Namjoon? I've been searching for him since my morning class ended and I have yet to see him."
Yoongi scrunch his eyebrows, wondering why the eldest would ask for his ex-boyfriend. "No, we haven't seen him at all this morning either. I hope you take this the wrong way but if I recall correctly, don't you hate his guts? So why are you asking for him?" An elbow slightly nudge him on the side, but he simply ignored it and remain focus on the flustered elder. Jimin cock his head to the side at the weird hyung and he leans forward with his elbows on the table, waiting patiently for Jin to reply.
"Let's just say things got out of hand and I'm trying to apologize." He rather not get into details since it'll only increase the guilt inside his heart. Yoongi and Jimin stared at him wide eyes, blinking. "Wait, you're going to apologize? Isn't the the other way around though since Namjoon was the one who..umm.." Yoongi paused awkwardly, not wanting to bring up the past but to his relieve, Jin waved it off.
"Oh no, he did apologize last night but I said... some things and now I want to apologize to him. My phone died so I was wondering if you could call him and ask him where he's at right now," Jin pleaded with his eyes and Jimin, being the kind heart spirited he is, caves in and nodded, taking out his phone to call Namjoon. The second oldest in the table is currently wondering what did Jin say to his ex lover that he would spend the whole morning searching for the egghead to apologize.
"Yoboseyo?" A groggily voice answers and Jin's heart pounded in his chest at the sleepy voice. Jimin lights up and he instantly smiles. "Hyung! Where are you right now?" Yoongi's eyes widen as he stares into Jin's eyes. Oh. So that's why he's desperate to look for him.
A chair lightly scrapping and the sound shuffling could be heard over the phone. "I'm at the library. I was taking a nap until you called. What's up, short stuff?" Ignoring the nickname, Jimin looks over to Jin, who was tapping his fingers nervously. "Oh um, I'm just wondering where you are since I didn't see you here in the cafeteria. Are you still in the library?"
"Yeah, I'm buying a drink at the vending machine right now."
Jimin quickly ushered the elder hyung to go and smiled when the other mouthed a thank you before running out off to the library.
"But I don't feel so good since I didn't sleep much last night so I'm going home now."
"Whoa whoa whoa, hyung! You're going home now? But!" Jimin bit his tongue and glance nervously over to Yoongi, who shrugged and stood up to throw his and Jimin's lunch away.
"Yeah, I could bravely stay awake today in lecture and my mind is too tired at the moment. I'll see you later, I'm about to drive."
Suddenly, Yoongi tug at his boyfriends shirt and nudge his head over to the entrance of the cafeteria. Jimin silently gasp and quickly tries to end the call. "Oh but Jin-hyung! Okay, fine. Don't forget to call Jin hyung when you take your nap! I gotta go!" The man was glancing around, not caring if he's attracting attention and finally laid his eyes on the Yoonmin couple. Jimin's breath hitched as the man started walking to their direction.
"Call Jin-hyung? What, why-"
Yoongi sigh loudly and grabbed Jimin's phone. "Yah, just do it alright! Now we gotta go, bye!"
"Wait, hyung! I need to tell Jimin something, it's urgent! It'll be quick, I swear!"
The man was walking edging closer now and Yoongi hastily held the phone next to Jimin's ear, who glance at him in confusion. "The idiot said it was urgent." Jimin nodded and shifted his attention back to the phone call, his nerves going haywire now that the man is close. "What is it hyung?"
"You got no jams. HAAAAAAA- bye."
Jimin grew red, spluttering like a fish while Yoongi could only smirked. But that fell quickly when the man isnow standing in front of them. "Hello boys, do you mind helping me out on something?" People were starting to stare and Yoongi became uncomfortable but Jimin held his hand under the table, rubbing circles on the top of his hand soothingly. "Sure, what is it?"
"I'm looking for Jin. Have you seen him around? I wanted to surprise my boyfriend since I have an hour break from work." Seung-hyun smiles and glance around the room for the handsome male while the Yoonmin couple secretly exchanged nervous looks.
"We're sorry, but we haven't seen Jin all day. He's probably still in class right now and won't get out until an hour or two," Yoongi spoke up, surprising himself for saying a white lie. He almost felt a bit guilty when he saw the disappointed look on the elder's face, but then Jimin stepped in, sensing the distraught mood. "But we'll let him know when he comes out, hyung."
Seung-hyun smiles gratefully at the mochi and bowed. "Thank you, it's disappointing that I won't get to see my Jinnie at the moment but I do have to head back to work. Bye!" The older man waves and the Yoonmin waved back, still in a daze of shock at the earlier occurrence. "Hyung, why did you lie to him?"
Yoongi frowned. "It would've been chaotic if he finds out his boyfriend is looking for the man Besides, I'm 100% sure that Jin is planning on going to Namjoon's house after school to apologize.
"How are you sure, babe?" Jimin asked, interlocking their hands as they head back to class. "The minute Jin-hyung heard Namjoon's voice over the phone, I saw the love in his eyes."

By the time Jin finishes walking around the huge library, he wanted to kick somebody. Namjoon isn't here and he even asked the lady downstairs if she saw him, to which she replies he left already. He's going to have to talk to Namjoon at home then and so he descended down the stairs, his eyes catching Taehyung sitting with Jungkook by the side of the wall. It appears that both boys were discussing something and when he saw Taehyung laugh with his eyes shimmering, his eyes widen. Could those two have made up already? How come Taehyung didn't tell him? He glance over at the pair again and saw how happy they were and the way Jungkook would stare at him with love in his eyes, he couldn't help but melt at the sight. But now's not the time and the fatigue was engulfing him immensely, his eyes growing droopy and his legs were growing wobbly with a minor migraine attacking his head from the side. He'll have to call it a day and go home for a much needed rest.

A few hours later, the sun is starting to set and a cute egg is barely waking up from his slumber. He got off from his bed and went to go fetch for a glass of water while checking his phone. His eyes nearly rolled out of its socket at the missed texts and calls.

He snorted when his eyes landed on Yoongi's name but was quickly replaced with a frown when he opened one of Jimin's message.
To Moni Bro:
Don't forget to call Jin-hyung!
He went ahead and read Yoongi's message, unable to hide his chuckles this time.
To Namjoon:
Jimin told me to text you to make sure you didn't die from your nap.
He rolled his eyes and chuckles for a bit and glance out the window, his eyes catching sight of a man with a dragon tattoo on his arm and he squints his eyes. Just then his phone vibrated and upon the callers name, his eyes widen and he took a deep breath before answering. "Hello?"
"N-Namjoon?"
He couldn't help but find it utterly adorable at how nervous the man on the other side is right now. "Yeah, what's up Jin?"
"Can I come over to your house?" Namjoon stood up, accidentally knocking over his counter stool. Jin wants to come over to his house? "S-sure!" He heard a sigh of relieve on the other hand and some slight shuffling.
"Oh good, because I'm in front of your house. I'm getting out of my car now."
Namjoon immediately started checking his house to make sure it's clean before rushing over to the door. He smooth out his hair and check his breath, then straighten his messy clothes just in time to hear light knocking on the door. He double checks his body once more and opened the door, revealing the most beautiful person his eyes have ever laid his eyes in. But now's not the time to stare, events from last night played out his head and just like that, his mood is ruined. "What's up, Jin? Why are you here?"
Jin twirl his fingers nervously and suddenly all of the courage he gathered a few minutes ago came tumbling down in an instant. But an apology is what he came to do and so he quickly mustered up his courage once more, trying his best to remain the eye contact. "I'm really sorry for what I said last night. It was entirely rude and harsh of me to have brought up your mother into the argument, when it was unnecessary. I was angry and my emotions got the best of me, I should have think before I act. I'm truly sorry for my behavior last night, I understand if you don't want to see my face right now-"
"Yah." Namjoon walked forward and gently tilted Jin's face up, forcing eye contact between them. Guilt is written all over Jin's face and he wanted to cry from how apologetic he is, but the words were said and the damage has been done. What he didn't expect was for the taller of the two to forgive him so quickly, shocking him to the core. "It's fine, Jin. You didn't know about my family and you were angry because I kept asking you the same question you were uncomfortable answering. So it's my fault that you said the wrong thing." Namjoon gave him a gentle smile and his heart skip a beat.
"N-no! It wasn't your fault, Namjoon. None of this would have happened if I hadn't kissed back." The atmosphere suddenly grew awkward and Jin curses mentally for bringing it up at this time. But it's the truth, if he hadn't kissed back, Namjoon wouldn't have to ask him for his reasons and he wouldn't get so defensive. Namjoon stayed quiet, casting his gaze elsewhere. "No, none of this would've happened if I didn't go to your house from the beginning." Jin gaze up at him, feeling the heavy guilt increasing at those words. "Anyways, don't worry about it. It's not your fault, it's mine. I should've think things through when I was at your house."
"Fine, it's both of our fault, alright?" Jin pouted, crossing his arms. Namjoon chuckles and he made way for the elder to head in. "Yeah, it's both of our faults. Anyways, let's put it behind us, yeah? I see that you haven't been sleeping well."
"Yeah, how did you know?" Jin questioned, gratefully accepting a glass of water from the male, quenching his dry throat. "Puffy eyes and pale skin. If that was my doing, then I'm sorry." Namjoon heads over and Jin could see the concern and sadness in those eyes. "You looked like you didn't sleep either, pabo." He releases a small smile when the taller male chuckled.
"Namjoon, I know we agreed to put this behind us but I just want to thank you for forgiving me and...a-and I'm glad for your existence in this world." His face is burning at this point and he refuses to look at the man in front of him. "Oh, do you now? Why is that, Jinnie?" Could his face get any redder?
Jin hastily took a seat on the couch, playing with his fingers. "Yah, I'm just glad alright?" Namjoon chuckles again and leans back onto the couch. "Okay, okay. I'm happy that you existed too, Jin. Remind me to thank your parents for producing such a fine specimen one day, yeah?" He laughs as Jin threw a pillow at him playfully, all the while giggling. But it soon lead into a pillow war for the next half hour until the pair collapses onto the couch, panting for oxygen.
"Doesn't this bring back memory, hyung?" Namjoon smiles gently. "When we first had our pillow fight here at my house a couple years back." The elder grin, remembering the fun memory. Soon, he's chuckling and Namjoon joins in, both bathing in the comfortable atmosphere. Jin doesn't want to admit it but seeing the other happy makes his heart swell but his mind shifted to Seung-hyun and his eyes widen. He was supposed to call him after school but instead, he came straight to Namjoon's house. Oh crap. He quickly stood up, causing Namjoon to stand up as well.
"Ah, it's getting late. I should go." Jin grabbed his bag and Namjoon walked him out, even opening the door for him. The elder gave him a smile to which the younger returned and lean against the door, watching Jin heads for his car. He's about to shout something when the handsome male turned around. "Hey Namjoon?"
"Yeah?"
"I've thought about what you said last night and....I was wondering that we could start over our relationship."
Namjoon's eyes bulged and he gasp. "Jinjja!?"
"But as friends because I'm in a relationship and I'm not the cheater type. So I figured if you want to gain my trust back, let's be friends. How does that sounds?"
Of course, he wants more than just being friends but if he's going to try win him back again, this was a start he can't pass up. "Yeah, I'd like that. I'll make you fall for me again, Jin." He winked, smirking at the blush on the elder's face.
"Yah, don't push it. Anyways, I'm going now. Make sure you get a good sleep tonight, Namjoon!" Jin starts the engine and waves before driving off to his place. Namjoon watch the elder leave and gently closes his door, then walks on over to the living room. He grabs a pillow and shove his face forward, muffling an excited scream with a huge grin plastered on his face.
