Chapter 60 Reunion

Namjoon ignores the cashier's yelling and ran out to the parking lot in search for the male. His mind is currently going overdrive while his heart pounded vigorously inside his chest. Seokjin is back in Korea. Kim Seokjin is back in Seoul, Korea. When? But the guy with the deep voice, just who is he? That's not who I think it is, right? He did a full scan of the parking lot and even went as far as checking each car, looking like a creep just looking at each window seat. Wait a freaking minute, that guy isn't Jin's boyfriend, is he? His footsteps halted and he scowl. Why the hell do I care? He shook his head, chuckling in amusement. "Right, his life is none of my business. Didn't I tell myself to forget about him and move on? The guy hates you, Kim Namjoon. Just let it go."

He didn't feel like purchasing the foods anymore so he went home, unable to stop his mind from replaying the events from earlier. By the time he reaches his house, it's already evening and he silently prays to all the gods that he does not walk into a butt naked Yoongi pounding the life out of Jimin on his couch. But the possibility of them screwing as of right now and how he has to hear those lewd noises only made him cringe and shudders. But he was tired and desperately needed a hot shower so he balled his fist and barge while covering his eyes quickly, his leg kicking the door shut. Might as well get it over with even if he'll get his ass kick by Yoongi.

"HERE COMES THE COCKBLOCKER!"

"What?"

He instantly uncovered his eyes, cheeks flaming hot as he comes across an extremely confused brown hair male. No one said a word until the other began to snort and Namjoon found himself laughing along with him. "Do I even want to know?"

Namjoon chuckle, shaking his head as he ruffles his hair. "Don't, I'm already embarrassed enough and I'm sorry I haven't contacted you in the past few years. You dyed your hair, it looks good on you." The other male smiles and step closer, putting a distance between them. "Thanks, I thought it'll make me look more like a "civilized person" now that I'm no longer in high school. How are things between you and Victoria? I've been thinking of you since we graduated."

He smiles and took a seat on the couch, gesturing for the other to sit next to him. "I broke up with her a long time ago. She reminded me of Hyuna and I didn't want to repeat the past. I'm focusing on changing myself for the better and even got accepted to Seoul University for business management!" Namjoon grins, fist pumping in the air as he feels a hand patting his back.

"Congrats, man! Hope to see you make it big someday." The male gives him a hug and he gladly accepts, forgetting how it feels like to hug an old friend. "Anyways, the reason why I came here is to tell you that I'm leaving for the military starting tomorrow, Namjoon."

Namjoon's eye dilated. "Military? Jinjja? You never talked about this back in high school! Why the sudden interest, Jackson?" A sorrow expression fell on Jackson's face, surprising the taller male. "I just want to leave my bullying days behind and become a better son for my mom, really. I just want to repay her for all the times I've caused her to cry and worry about me. I want to make her proud since her father served in the military as well." He smiles softly, gazing at the ground. Namjoon didn't know what to say, this was his first time hearing this and the news was a bit of a shocker to him. A phone blaring interrupted their thought and Jackson took out his phone, smiles and presses the accept button. "Hey baby." Jackson mouth "be right back" and went outside, leaving Namjoon to sit by himself on the couch to reflect on his thoughts.

He felt incredibly guilty that he didn't bother checking up on his childhood friend. He's been so busy focusing on living his life that he didn't made any attempt to contact Jackson and he knew why. Ever since Jackson kissed him, he avoided the other and thought their friendship shouldn't continue since it'll be super awkward between them. Now that he finds out that his best friend has actually been thinking about him while he hasn't, it left a shard in his heart. He quietly glance up when Jackson came back with a big smile on his face and he couldn't help but smile with him.
