Chapter 28 Conflicted (Edited)

"Namjoon." 

Silence. 

"Yo Namjoon." 

Silence.

A frustrated sigh could be heard. 

"LISTEN HERE YOU TAN EGG HEAD-!"

"Huh? What do you want, Jackson?," Namjoon mumbled, not paying attention to Jackson since his eyes were practically glued to Jin's broad shoulder, who was currently hanging out with Taehyung at the other side of the cafeteria. Ever since that event occurred at the broken house, Namjoon started seeing Jin a whole different light. It wasn't a big change but it was a beginning of something new, he knew that for sure. He shook his head, wanting to shake off the thought of Jin's plump lips on his and how nice it felt, and the way his big eyes captivated him. Get it together, Namjoon.

He didn't realize he was staring until Jin met eyes with him, smirking when he saw the other boy blushing shyly. He winked, and Jin giggle before waving shyly, making Namjoon smile wider. He continues to watch Jin and Taehyung interaction while eating his own food, chuckling when he saw the look on Jin's face when Taehyung stole a piece of meat off of his lunch. Realizing that he's been staring too long, he quickly went back to jabbing his food, hoping that Jackson didn't catch him in the act. 

"So Namjoon, did you hear about T.O.P.? He's back in town," Jackson says, munching on his sandwich while eyeing Namjoon from his peripheral vision. Namjoon stayed silent, only nodded to him. "Yeah, I heard and I don't care." 

"O.....kay. So how are things going between you and the pig?" Jackson snickers. "Has he confessed to you yet?" 

"He has a name, Jackson," Namjoon replied, stealing a piece of meat off of Jackson's food. "Oh I know he does, but pig suits him more. Does it offend you that I call him pig?" Jackson laugh and Namjoon felt something stir in his stomach. 

"Yes because he's my boyfriend!," Namjoon snap, causing Jackson to gasp in shock. "Dude you guys aren't even in a real relationship. This whole thing is a joke, remember? Our mission is to break his and that other pig- points to Taehyung- heart and get my revenge," Jackson growled, subconsciously touching the scar at the back of his head from that encounter. He was one hell of a stubborn guy, not the type of walking away without doing his opponent a favor that they'll never forget. Namjoon felt like banging his head against the wall and forget everything that happened because Jackson was right. He had absolutely no intention of being Jin's boyfriend from the beginning, but after dating him for 6 months now, he didn't realize he would start crushing on Jin. Curse you, Kim Seokjin

Namjoon sigh, knowing how stubborn Jackson could be. "Dude, that happened like months ago, get over it." 

"You're kidding, right? No way am I going to forget that incident! He made me look like a fool so I'll show him what a fool really feels like, and it'll be thanks to you, Namjoon," Jackson smirked.

Namjoon's jaw clench, not knowing what to say. Half of him still wants to continue this bet, while the other half said otherwise. Feeling frusrated, he stood up and left to throw his lunch away. 

"Namjoon, where are you going?" Jackson hollered at him. "Getting some fresh air!" he shouted back, ignoring the stares people were giving them. He decided to head to the rooftop to clear his head for a bit and lean over the rails, getting a good view of the school's courtyard. He suddenly thought about his sexuality and wonder how he felt about all of this. To tell the truth, Jin was his first boyfriend since he dated mostly girls back in his middle schools so this whole ordeal was new to him. Turns out, Jin was entirely different than the girls he dated and he didn't know if he like that or not.
