Chapter 71 Doubts

Over the next couple of weeks, Namjoon and Jin has been hanging out more lately, mostly at school since Jin is with his boyfriend during the weekends. Of course, Namjoon is still jealous whenever the elder goes on dates with his boyfriend, but he's forced to be reminded that they're just friends. It's becoming painful for him to act like he's okay with their current status and it certainly wasn't easy staying friends when the elder still has doubts about him.

He could tell that Jin hasn't fully trust him yet but he's willingly to wait and make it work to make up for those 8 months. Jin recently got a job at a bakery inside Ramenlicious, which doesn't make him feel any better because that means Seung-hyun gets to see him almost 24/7, while he gets to see Jin less than that, even if they hang out during school. It still wasn't enough for Namjoon.

He needs to try harder and gain Jin's ultimate trust again. He didn't think it'll be this hard, since all his high school life, he had no trouble making both girls and guys fall for him. But now, it's completely different. Jin obviously isn't the same person as before, he's more bolder and confident now ever since he's gotten slimmer, not to mention his popularity also skyrocketed at university. Hell, he's even popular with both the female and male staffs, causing Namjoon to watch with slightly jealously. It's so funny how a couple of years back, Jin always gave him attention, now the tables have turn and he's the one working his hardest to gain the eldest attention again. Did he regret his decision to agree to Jackson's stupid bet? Most definitely.

Each passing days in university, he's forced to watch Jin interact with countless women's who begs for his love. For the first time ever, Namjoon could understand Jin's pain whenever the elder had to watch him flirt with girls or just simply giving them the time of day in their high school years. He's interrupted from his thoughts when he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Namjoon, I'm heading out to grab some lunch. You coming?" Yoongi looks at him.

"Nah, I wanna work on these for a bit. You go on ahead." He smiles and turns his attention back to his lyrics book. "Alright but I'm still going to buy you food regardless. I don't need you stealing my food. Be right back." The taller male laugh and shook his head, going back to concentrate on his lyrics. He recently got hired by a music company due to Yoongi giving him a good word in and now his job was to help the rapper with producing songs. After half an hour later, Yoongi comes back and hand Namjoon his lunch. The taller male opened his takeout to see blackbean noodles and he glance up lovingly at Yoongi, who looked creeped out. "Hyung, thank you! Omo, where's your lunch?"

"Ah, Jimin has it. Jimin!" Yoongi sat on his desk and turns around to see his boyfriend walking in. "Hiya Namjoon-hyung!"

Namjoon gave him an acknowledge nod and he started stuffing his mouth with the delicious noodles. Jimin went to go sit on Yoongi's lap, placing the takeout box onto the table and began to feed Yoongi. "Say ahh, hyung." He chuckles at the blush and shove the food inside, ignoring Namjoon's fake gagging. After lunch break, Yoongi pouted, much to Jimins delight. "Why are you pouting, hyung? Are you still hungry?"

"Yeah, hungry for some Jibooty. You got any to offer?"

Namjoon choked on his water and fell off his chair, earning a concern gaze from a blushing Jimin. "h-hyung!"

Yoongi smirks and slap his butt. "I'm just joking, you better get ready. Now go, Hoseok is waiting for you at his studio." Namjoon quickly turned away when the two started smooching, the room filled with kissing noises and instead of being disgusted, he's envy of them. He wish he could kiss Jin all the time and whenever he wants. Knowing that his position is taken only makes his mood drop and he heave a heavy sigh. The oldest of the three heard the sigh and gently lean back, chuckling when he heard a whine. "Yah I can't afford a boner here and you need to go see Mr. Sunshine." Jimin nodded and quickly pecks him on the lips before heading out the door. The room is now quiet and Yoongi scoots closer to the distressed male. "So how are you and Jin doing so far? Any progress between you two?"
