I love you kookie

Jungkook couldn't stop thinking about that note that was now inside his jean pocket as he sat with Jackson, Mark, Namjoon, Jimin, and Yoongi. He noticed Yoongi was laying on Jimin's lap, snoring and wonder how could he sleep through all the ruckus the guys were making. He was so focused on figuring out who would like a 14-year-old guy like him that he didn't notice Namjoon snapping his fingers in front of his face.

"Yo, earth to Jungkook. Anyone there?" Jungkook snapped out of his daze and saw that the guys were staring at him with food in their mouth. "S-sorry, was just thinking about something." He shoved a piece of chicken into his mouth, suddenly interested on his feet. He didn't want to tell the guys about the note since knowing them, they'll probably won't stop teasing him and he didn't want the whole school to know either. He didn't know why he was so infatuated with that note either. He received a bunch of love letters daily in his locker from his noonas, but this particular one was different. It was crumbled up, messy handwriting, and had two stick figure holding hands, one was tall and one was short and both were males. Jungkook couldn't figure out which one was him, but if he had to guess, he'd say he was the shorter one because the taller figure had a bob hair cut and looked...a bit chunky. The more he tried to figure out who could it be, the more confused he was getting and decided to shove that thought for another time.

Everyone turned their head when Jackson let out a slight groan. He was touching the back of his now stitched head and had a pained expression. Jungkook figured the cut must have hurt a lot to see him in such pain. "That little pig, I'm going to make him regret messing with me" Jackson angrily grunt. He finished his food and stood up, stretching a bit. Namjoon glanced up at him and chuckle. "Don't sweat it, man, just focus on Tiffany's party that's tomorrow", Namjoon said and stole a piece of chicken off of Jimin's plate, who is now currently having a chopstick battle with Namjoon to get his chicken back.

Namjoon won and happily shoved the chicken into his mouth. "Namjoon, what do you think about Jin-hyung?" Jimin asked him. After that dinner at Jin's house, Namjoon didn't say anything and it made Jimin wonder what he thought about him since Jimin did enjoy Jin's company.  Namjoon choked on his chicken at the unexpected question and quickly drank some water, letting out a sigh as he did not expect this whatsoever. At this point, everyone was staring at him, waiting for his answer. Jackson rose an eyebrow. "What kind of question is that Jimin? Namjoon obviously thinks that guy is nothing but a sore loser." Jimin said nothing but instead, watches Namjoon once more, waiting for his answer.

"I don't even care. Why do you ask?" Namjoon asked bluntly. He didn't even know why Jimin would ask him such a question. Jimin shrugged and leaned back a little. "I think he's cool to hang out with, that's all." Jackson let out a cackling laugh, startling Yoongi who got rudely interrupted from his nap. "Cool to hang out with?! Since when did you start hanging out with those pigs?! Listen here Jimin, if you hang without them, you can't hang out with us." Jackson tells him, his face serious. "We don't need to ruin our reputations and the fact that one of them bruised my handsome face took a hit on my pride. I'm going to make him pay and you all are going to help me with it. That includes you too, Jimin Park. Are you in or out?" Jackson aimed at him.

Jimin frowned, suddenly remembering the first time he had spoken with Jin and something about his reputation getting blown if Jimin were seen talking to him. He also thought about what Jackson said and he began to feel doubtful. He felt torn, as he didn't want to choose between Jin and Jackson, but these guys were his friends and he didn't want to be treated like dirt if he picked Jin. Seemed like he took to long to answer because next thing he knew, Jackson stood up and began to collect his things.

"Seems like Jimin made up his mind, guys. Let's go." Jackson said, looking at him once again. Namjoon glanced at him and didn't want to abandon Jimin, but like Jackson said, they got a reputation to hold and he was determined to reach the top and be like Jackson. He began collecting his things and stood up, and looked at Jimin again, who looked so torn that Namjoon couldn't help but feel sorry for him. Jungkook also didn't want to leave Jimin but he also values his reputation, as well since he was only 14 and didn't want to start high school treated poorly. He too, collected his things and slowly stood up and glanced at Jimin, who seemed to look more determined, signaling he had his answer. Since Yoongi overheard the conversation, he sat up and stared at Jimin, curious to see how he would answer Jackson's question.
