Sammie's POV
For the past three weeks mom has been pissed. All the calls and everything. But from who? I have no idea. All I know is that mom said to never answer them. This happened when I was little too but eventually it stopped. So this should stop to.....right? I got home from school and mom wasn't home. The house phone rung and it was that number mom told me not to answer to. But I was curious. Yeah yeah, curious killed the cat. Whatever.
"Hello?" I say picking up the phone.
"Megan?"he asked.
I immediately got pissed. My voice sounded nothing like my mom's.
"I'm sorry I didn't know my voice sounded like a girl's! Who is this?!" I yelled.
It was quiet on the other line for a while. "Are you her boyfriend or something?"the guy asked.
"No, who is this?" I ask rubbing my face in irritated.
"Who's this?"the guy asked.
"I asked first." I snapped.
"Watch your tone with me young man, I can tell your a kid."he said sighing.
"Shut up your not my dad!" I yelled and froze.
"Ah so she is married with kids...huh?"the guy said.
"Who are you?!" I yelled.
".....Her ex husband...."he said.
I just stood still. I almost dropped the phone.
"Hello?"the guy said.
"......Dad?" I said and then he went quiet.
"So I do have a son....."he mumbled.
I heard the front door unlocking. I started to panic.
"Uh b-bye." I said quickly.
"Wai-"he started to say but I hang up and put the phone up.
Mom came in looking tired. She looked up at me and smiled.
"How was school?"she asked.
I just stared at her. I gulped. "Mom.....what really happened to dad?" I asked.
Her smile fell and she paled. "I told you not to answer the phone!"she yelled.
"I have a right to know what's going on mom!" I yelled back.
"Go to your room!"she yelled.
"WHAT?!" I yelled.
"You heard me, your grounded. For two weeks. No going out the house unless I say you can."she said.
"That's not fair!" I yelled.
"Life isn't fair!"she snapped.
".....Sometimes it is." I said turning away from her. "I wish I was with dad....." I mumbled as I walked up the stairs and mom's eyes widen.
"Make that a month! Stay in your room! And don't come out!"she yelled looking hurt.
"All because I answered a stupid phone." I mumbled.
"No because your disobedient."she said.
"Sometimes you have to do that to make a change." I said and she glared at me.
"Don't ever answer the phone again."she said sternly.
"Whatever." I said and got up the stairs then see the door behind me.
I slid down and sighed.
Vincent's POV
"Hey Sammie!" I said cheerfully. "This is your boyfriend again. This is like the what....eleventh time I called and went to voicemail. I love you and just want to know if your okay." I said and hung up with a sigh.
"Still not answering?" Derrick said walking by me with his arms behind his head..
"Nope, so is Jamie gonna spend time with us or is he working?" I asked.
"Working." Derrick said looking at something.
I turned my head and saw a group of girls. I shook my head and glared at him.
"What?"he said.
"I'll tell Jamie." I said.
"Hey! I'm not ordering. I'm just looking at the menu."he said.
"Jamie will kill you." I said.
"Like I said I'm not ordering. I love Jamie."he said.
"Uh huh, correction, I will kill you with him." I said and he sighed.
"Yeah yeah. Plus I wasn't looking at them. I was looking at who they we're crowding."he said smirking.
"That's even worse." I said until I saw Jamie running away out of the group of girls and them chasing him.
I blinked. "What the hell is he wearing?" I said looking at a flushed Derrick who just smirked and looked away.
"Yeah I should of never thought you were looking at the girls sorry. I forgot you turned gay." I said and he glared.
"You damn right basterd. On one thing. And that's looking at other people besides my Jamie."he said and I rolled my eyes.
"Hey Bob!" Derrick said and Lenny turned to glare at him.
"Hey Len." I said and his eyes snapped at me and something flickered.
"Don't say that k."he said and I stared.
"Sorry Lenny." I said and hr nodded.
"No problem. You just sound like someone who use to call me that."he said crossing his arms.
"Hey Vincent!"a familiar voice said.
I turned around to see my dad smiling. Lenny looked up and his eyes widen.
"Dad aren't you on the other side of the mall?" I asked.
"Yeah but I came here to give a award to a new shop that opened recently that has earned a lot of money so far."he said.
Lenny just stared at him then dad looked at him and his face lit up.
"Len!"he said smiling and gave him a big hug and Lenny just blinked. Dad pulled back smiling. "So your the one who opened this shop. Of course it would go to you. It's been a long time no see."he said smiling and Lenny just stared at him.
"Van...."he said.
"I missed ya...."dad said looking a bit sad. Then dad turned to me and Derrick. "This guy here is the best. I knew him in highschool."dad said grinning.
Lenny still looked in shock. "Well isn't this funny." Derrick said smirking and instantly Lenny glared at him.
"Here ya go." Dad said smiling as he handed him his award.
"Keep up the good work Len."he said.
Lenny finally spoke. "Don't call me that."he said.
Dad frowned. "What's wrong with you?"he asked and Lenny looked away.
"No reason you sound so much like him.....he's your father...." Lenny mumbled which was probably towards me.
"Le-"Dad started to say.
"Thanks for my award now please go." Lenny said looking cold in the eyes.
Dad just stared at him for a while. "Okay Len I mean Lenny."dad sighed then glanced at Derrick and I.
"Where's ya twos boyfriends?"he asked and we both flushed.
"Ah I see."he said grinning then he turned to look at Lenny.
"Here's my number if you need anything."he said writing his number in pen on Lenny's hand.
"Va-Van." Lenny said and dad smiled.
"Glad to see you back."he said and for a second I thought Lenny flush.
"Welp gotta go. Your mom is probably at home sleep."dad said smiling at me and instantly Lenny looked pissed.
"Go to Marion already." Lenny said and dad turned to look at him.
"Lenny what is wrong?"dad asked crossing his arms looking a bit worried.
"Nothing just go."he said glaring.
Dad looked him up and down. Then shook his head with a sigh. "Give me a call. I mean it."he said and said his goodbyes before leaving..
Derrick and I turned to look at a irritated Lenny. I was confused while Derrick smirked more.
"Sooo your gay?" Derrick aske and Lenny glared at him before smirking wickedly.
"Saids the guy who has sex last night." Lenny said and instantly Derrick's face was as red as a tomato.
"What?! When did this happen?" I ask looking at him.
"Well not last night...."he trailed off.
"You had sex and didn't tell me!" I yelled and he covered my mouth.
"And do you see why you loud ass."he hissed.
I smirked. "I have a question."it sounded muffled as I rose my hand.
He rolled his eyes and took his hand off my mouth. "What?"he asked.
"Firs, don't ever touch me with your hands. I have no idea where they have been." I said and he flushed then glared "Second." I said and smirked and slanted my eyes. "Who's the bottom?" I asked.
Derrick turned red as a tomato again. "Looks like we know who now." Lenny said crossing his arms smirking.
"Shut up, you guys don't know nothing!" Derrick said looking flustered and pissed. "I'm going to the bathroom!"he yelled storming off.
I laughed and Lenny actually laughed too. "You don't have to announce it to the world." Lenny said and we heard a muffled shut up from the hall to the bathroom.
Whooooop I'm on a roll. This is getting good to me. Sorry I haven't been able to update because of all the hw I've been getting at school and all the tests. Well I love ya my potatoes. Peace.
