Normal P.O.V:
Both Black Hole and Bottle sit with Tree in his hospital room, Black Hole had brought him some more books to read and Bottle gave him a get well soon card made with a comical amount of glitter.
Bottle: Do you like my card Tree? I put at lot into it. :)
Tree: Yeah, you... really did...
Tree wipes the fallen glitter from his sheets and places the card on the stand beside him.
Tree: It's really nice Bottle. Anything I missed at school?
Black Hole: Well, Ms. PSB is conflicted between piling up your missed school work or letting you off the hook.
Tree: That's not really what I meant and now I have mixed feelings about that...
Bottle: Trophy was thrusted through the wall in music class by one of the transfer students.
Tree: Yikes, what did he do to tick them off?
Bottle: I don't know, but they both got detention for damage of property. And Cheesy did the funny trombone sound. (laughs)
Tree: *snrk* Classic.
Black Hole: Anyway... How are you feeling Tree?
Tree: I'm doing better. Not great, but better. I just had my third radiotherapy treatment and being cured from cancer in general can take up to weeks or even months. *sigh*
Tree: This was another thing I've been trying to avoid. Mom's taking care of Rodrick thankfully but who's gonna handle the flower shop?
Bottle: I think I know someone who can help.
Bottle points Tree to the direction of Black Hole and Black Hole realized what Bottle was doing.
Black Hole: Me? I.. I don't even know where to begin on caring for flowers.
Tree: You tend to be a quick learner though, I can trust you to manage my shop. But you are free to say no if you don't want to.
Black Hole remains silent thinking it over, he glances back to his boyfriend and takes a deep breath of confidence.
Black Hole: Ok I'll look over your shop, I've been wanting to see what it's like there anyway.
Tree: Really? Oh, you're a big help babe.
Tree grabs a journal and writes stuff on a page before handing it to Black Hole.
Tree: Here're the directions, opening hours and oh- You'll need the keys too. And if you have any other questions you're free to text me. Again I can't thank you enough for doing this for me.
Black Hole: I won't disappoint you Tree.
Black Hole pulls up his hood and leans in closer to Tree for the two of them to hug and also share their usual kiss before he and Bottle exit the room to let Tree rest. The next day after school Black Hole is emptying out his locker when Microphone taps him on the shoulder.
Mic: Hey Black Hole, we good on binging Adventure Tine today?
Black Hole: Feeessh... oh. Sorry Mic I can't today, I promised my boyfriend I manage his flower shop since he's in the hospital.
Mic: Oh alright. Maybe another day then, it's nice of you to do that for him. Anyhow I'll see you later then.
Black Hole and Mic wave each other goodbye and he flies off in the direction Tree's note said, eventually he finds the store and reaches into his pocket for the keys.
Black Hole: "Home Garden.." This must be it.
He unlocks the door and opens it getting startled by the bell the chimes, after shortly shaking off the shock he notices a sign on the door that says "Open" on one side and "Closed" on the other. Knowing what to do he flips the sign to have the open side face the glass door and starts looking around until he finds the front desk and an apron, most likely Tree's hanging on the wall. Black Hole takes it and tries it on, he was no stranger to wearing work attire so he got use to the apron rather quickly.
Black Hole: Hm, not bad.
*chime*
Black Hole: ?
First customer of the day, a teapot walks through the door and looks around.
Teapot lady: Ello' there Tree, I'm here to pick up my- Oy Vey! You're not Tree.
Black Hole: Yeah no I'm not, but I am his boyfriend.
Teapot lady: Well where is he then?
Black Hole: In the hospital, he's got cancer and has asked me to manage his shop in his stead until he's recovered.
Teapot lady: Oh dear, well he's seems very lucky to have such a mentch partner to help him in need.
The teapot reaches over in attempt to pinch Black Hole's 'cheek' only for him to stop her.
Black Hole: Uuh yeah, I wouldn't advise doing that for me if you like your hand the way it is...
Teapot lady: Whyever would you say that?
Black Hole: Ummmm....
Teapot lady: Y'know what never mind, have ya got any hyacinths around?
Black Hole: Hy..ya-cinths..? Uh sure, right this way. Forgive me if I appear unprofessional, this is kind of my first day.
Black Hole looks around for the requested flower and takes a pot from a shelf over to the customer.
Black Hole: Here you go.
Teapot Lady: These are pansies, I asked for hyacinths.
Black Hole: Ooh! *nervous chuckle* Got it, give me a sec.
Black Hole steps away and gets out his phone to look up a picture of a hyacinth and looks around with a reference until he finally finds what he was looking for. And brings them over to check out the lady also brings a bottle of pest remedy.
Teapot lady: Would you mind checking out this pesticide too? It's gettin' to be that time of year again.
Black Hole: Uh-huh.. sure. Okay, that'll come to... $51.35? I had no idea flowers costed so much.
Teapot lady: Well flowers are delicate and perishable as they are beautiful, but unlike the fakakta fake flowers, with proper care and love they're worth every penny.
The lady gives Black Hole the money and even leaves a little tip.
Teapot lady: Here's a little tip for you, have a pleasant day now.
Black Hole: Yeah, you too!
*chime*
Black Hole: Wow, I still have a lot to learn about plants...
