Lighting's P.O.V:
Me, Marker and Stapy were at his house to binge some anime while Foldy is in the other room meditating about something, I even Black Hole along for the ride to show him how cool japanese shows are. This week was my turn and of course you know I'm putting on my girls The Sailor Guardians from Sailor Moon.
Lightning: Oh this is my favorite part!
"It's not absorbing her energy, but why!? Wait, I know what must have happened! You stopped using the crystal disk, didn't you? I did! Studying should be done on your own, using the disk was like cheating. You jerk! Curse your impudence!"
Lightning: This is where Luna finds out that Ami is a pretty guardian and tells her how to transform into Sailor Mercury. What do you think of the series so far Black Hole?
Black Hole: Hmmm... I don't get it.
Lightning: Huh? What about it that you don't get?
Black hole: Well... everything. How would the main character not know about the powers she posses? Since Luna can talk would that mean other cats can talk too? Also what do the planets in this solar system have to do with the girl's powers, and why doesn't that Tuxedo Mask guy just be a full on team member with her and her friends? It'd be more efficient against the just as confusing enemy.
Stapy: Wow... You're friend really likes to read into these sort of things Lightning.
Lightning: Yeah and it gets rather annoying... Look Black Hole, it's fiction and a 90s cartoon made in Japan called anime, none of it is supposed to make literal sense. You just have to stop reading into everything sometimes to actually enjoy it.
Black Hole: I'll try to take your word on it, but I still don't understand the whole plot.
Stapy: (remind me not to show him One Piece)
Lightning: (already thinking that, he's clearly not ready)
Marker: Wheeeee!
Stapy: Hm? *sigh* Marker you better not be joyriding in my wheel chair again, you still owe me for the last one you busted!
Black Hole: Does he do this happen frequently?
Stapy: Sometimes. Foldy and I could try and teach him some responsibility but teaching Marker to be more careful is like teaching a dog to use the toilet, it's impossible.
Marker: Look Stapy, No hands!
Black Hole: I'll stop him for you.
Lightning: I guess I'll just hit the pause until you're done preventing casualties.
Normal P.O.V:
Lighting pauses the show and while waiting for Black Hole to come back picks up his Harry Potter book. Black Hole chases Marker in Stapy's wheelchair around the room for a couple of minuets until they both crash into the wall-to-wall book shelf causing some books to fall off one book labeled "Japanese for beginners" falls directly into Black Hole.
Black Hole: C'mon Marker stop already, this isn't a play ground!
Marker: You'll never take me alive! Hahaha.. OH NO!
Black Hole: Woah!
*CRASH*
Marker & Black Hole: ooww... / ugh..
Lightning: Woah that was quite the crash, are you guys okay?
Marker: I'm fine...
Black Hole: Un...
Stapy: What about my wheelchair?
Marker: Oh I think a wheel broke off. :P
Stapy: Seriously Marker? I told you not to do this again!
Marker: You know I never learn.
Lightning: Are you okay Black Hole? You seem a little dazed..
Black Hole: はい、元気です
Black Hole covers his 'mouth' in shock and the others look at him in confusion.
Lightning, Marker & Stapy: ???
Stapy: Was that meant to be a yes or....?
Black Hole: もうわからない
Lightning: Have you forgotten how to talk dude? Use your words!
Black Hole: 私は決して忘れません、そして私は私の言葉を使っています！
Foldy: What is going on in here? I can hear you boys from across the house.
Stapy: Sorry Foldy, Marker was screwing around with my wheelchair again and Black Hole decided to help stop him.
Foldy: I take it that's why my manga and other books are in a disorganized pile on the floor?
Lightning: Yeah, and now Black Hole is speaking in gibberish and we can't understand him.
Foldy: Gibberish? Let me see. Black Hole, are feeling okay?
Black Hole: はい、元気ですが、なぜこのような話をしているのかわかりません。
Foldy: I see... it's not gibberish you sillies, it's japanese.
Marker: Wow, I didn't know you knew japanese Black Hole.
Black Hole: 私は決してそうしなかったし、今ではこのような話をやめることはできません.
Foldy: He said he never learned japanese, he also can't seem to stop for some reason.
Black Hole: あなたは私をどのように理解していますか？
Foldy: I understand you because I'm of japanese blood, well metaphorically, I don't have actual blood.
Lightning: huh, maybe Golf Ball and Tennis Ball can figure this out.
Black Hole: それが私の唯一の選択肢なら...
Lightning: Great, let's go.
Black Hole and Lightning then left to go see GB and TB, they first went to Golf Ball's house and knocked only for no one to respond.
Lightning: Huh, guess no one's home.
Black Hole: テニスボールを試してみませんか
Lightning: I don't know what you're trying to tell me big guy. Let's go see if TB is available.
Black Hole: *facepalm*
They rang Tennis Ball's doorbell and like GB's place no response.
Lightning: Guess neither of them are free, what are we going to do now? What are you writing?
Black Hole gets out his notepad and draws some kind of picture and shows Lightning.
Lightning: Uuhh... What is this, dancing gummy bears?
Black Hole grabs the notepad and flips it over.
Lightning: Oh Test Tube! Of course, good idea she always knows these things and she's nicer about it.
Later the two paid Test Tube a visit, after explaining what had happened she quickly begun investigating and going through notes. She then a weird looking helmet on Black Hole's head.
Test Tube: Hmm, here Black Hole put this on, it should help translate. Now tell me did anything fall into your event horizon when you and Marker crashed?
Black Hole: そういえば......うん、なんか落ちたな。(Now that I think about it... yeah, something did fall in.)
Test Tube: I see, I think I know what happened. you see black holes are what us scientists like to call information paradoxes because we can never find out what happens to the information of something when your kind consumes it.
Lightning: What does that have to do with how and why Black Hole is suddenly stuck talking in japanese?
Test Tube: I'm getting to that! But this paradox of lost and or destroyed information was resolved and a theory we came up with is the idea that black holes store information like how E-books store data and code.
Black Hole: それは理にかなっている (That sounds reasonable)
Test Tube: Reviewing this has made me put sentient black holes like you into consideration, perhaps you don't just store information... you rapidly learn it. Because you most likely absorbed a japanese book, by now you're practically fluent in understanding and speaking japanese! This is so fascinating!
Lightning: Yeah it's great that you made a new discovery but how can Black Hole go back to speaking english?
Test Tube: Oh I honestly have no idea at the moment. The best thing to do is wait to see if this is temporary like the humanoid form growth thing, if it doesn't seem that likely after a while come back to me and I can try to figure something out.
Lightning: Well I guess you're stuck talking japanese for a while, something tells me school is gonna be much more interesting for you and everyone else. *smirk*
*WHACK*
Black Hole: 誰も私を理解できないなんておかしいじゃない！> C
Lightning: Ow-! I'm kidding, I'm kidding!
