"You- You're what?" Sirius stutters out. "No, this can't be happening. I mean, we were safe, every time we had sex we used protection."
"I know, but I took a pregnancy test and it's positive." I say.
"I- No." Sirius was clearly freaking out as much as I am. "Maybe it's wrong. You can't be pregnant, we're too young to have a baby."
I stay silent as tears flow from my eyes.
Sirius begins pacing the room, muttering to himself.
I sit down on my bed, putting my head in my hands. I feel Sirius sit down beside me, gently placing his hand on my back.
"Hey, it's okay, just relax."
"How can I relax?!" I exclaim. "I'm freaking out, we're not ready to have a kid."
"I know, but we'll figure it out. And there's options, we could keep the baby, put them up for adoption, abortion. Whatever you choose, I'm here for you."
"I don't know," I say through tears. "What do you think we should do?"
"It doesn't matter what I think."
"Yes it does, it's your baby too."
"True, but your the one who'll have to go through the pregnancy and childbirth and I know I don't know much about that stuff but it seems awful. You shouldn't have to go through something like that if you aren't ready."
"How are you so calm and reasonable right now?" I ask him.
"Because you're freaking out and I know me freaking out wont help. Believe me though, I am internally freaking out, this is terrifying."
I rest my head on his shoulder and he wraps an arm around me.
"I want to keep the baby." I mutter quietly.
"Okay," Sirius says. "We'll figure it all out, we'll get our own apartment once we leave Hogwarts and-"
"Oh God." I mumble.
"What?" Sirius asks concernedly.
"How am I going to hide this pregnancy? I mean, pregnant people get huge, I know I wear a lot of baggy clothing but that probably wont work."
"Calm down, we can use charms to hide the bump when it's necessary," Sirius says. "Don't worry. Besides, if people do find out and start saying anything about it we both know Lily will hex the crap out of them, and Marlene will gladly commit murder for you."
I let out a small laugh.
"You're right," I say. "Everything will be fine."
"Exactly. Yes, it might be completely terrifying, but we can do this."
I nod my head, cuddling closer to him.
He tightly wraps his arms around me.
"I love you." He says.
"I love you too." I respond.
"So, Lily knows?" He asks, releasing me from the hug. I nod. "Soo..."
"Yes, you can go tell James." I say, knowing what he was wanting.
"Thank you," He says, kissing me before standing up. "Wanna tell him together?"
"Sure." I shrug, following him out of the room and down to the common room.
"Do you think Lily might've already told him?" Sirius asks as we walk down.
"No, she won't tell anyone." I answer.
Sirius nods and we arrive at the common room.
James and Lily were sitting together on the couch. Sirius and I sit down beside them.
"So?" Lily whispers to me.
"He's also freaking out, but he hasn't broke up with me so you don't need to kill him." I whisper back.
"Seriously, what are you two hiding?" James asks Lily and I.
I shrug before looking over at Sirius.
"James, Y/n is pregnant." Sirius says.
James looks at me in shock.
"You- what? Really?"
I nod my head.
"Dude, I gave you those condoms for a reason." James says to Sirius, who whacks him on the head.
"Shut up or I'm going to kill you." Sirius threatens.

I take a deep breath as I walk into the hospital wing.
"Um, Madam Pomfrey?"
The woman turns to look at me.
"Yes dear? Take a seat, what can I help you with?"
I sit down on one of the beds and she sits down on a chair beside it.
"I- uh-"
"There's no need to be embarrassed, dear, I've seen everything."
"I'm pregnant." I mumble quickly.
"Now, that's certainly something I've seen plenty times during my time here. Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I took a test and it's positive, so I'm assuming I am." I answer.
She pulls out her wand, waving it to summon a stethoscope.
She's silent as she moves the stethoscope around my stomach.
"Well, there is certainly a heartbeat, so I can confirm that you are pregnant." She says, placing the stethoscope down on a table. "I assume you will be glad to know that the baby's heartbeat is strong and healthy."
I nod. "That's good."
She then proceeds to give me a standard check up, just to make sure everything is okay.
"So, you have options with how to proceed. It's entirely up to you whether or not you keep the baby."
"I want to keep the baby." I say with certain.
Madam Pomfrey nods. "Well, I would like it if you come to me for monthly check ups. If you have any questions or concerns, I am here to help."
"Thank you." I say.
"You are free to go, unless you have anything more to say."
"No, I think I'm fine." I say, standing up. "Thank you."
Pomfrey says bye to me before returning to whatever she was working on before I arrived.
I leave the hospital wing to find Sirius standing outside waiting for me.
"So?" He asks.
"Definitely pregnant, and the baby is healthy." I answer, knowing what he was meaning.
He pulls me in for a tight hug.
"I'm glad everything is okay." He says.
"Me too." I respond.
He releases me from the hug.
"So its happening, we're going to have a baby." He mumbles to himself.
"Come on, we should get to the common room, Lily's probably eagerly waiting for me to return."
"Oh yeah, she definitely is." Sirius agrees.
We walk hand in hand back to the common room.

Lily and I were in the common room, talking and drinking hot chocolate, while James and Sirius were outside.
"What are the up to anyways?" Lily asks, taking a sip of hot chocolate.
"Tinkering with Sirius' motorbike," I answer. "They're apparently trying to make it fly."
"So they're trying to make an already dangerous vehicle even more dangerous?"
"Yep," I answer. "Sirius was bored of riding around the grounds and decided that the sky was a more fun option."
"Of course," Lily nods. "Those dumbasses just need to do the most extreme stuff."
I nod my head in agreement.
We talk for a while but soon the boys come back in, talking loudly as they enter the room.
"So, did you figure out how to make it fly?" I ask as Sirius sits down beside me, throwing his arm over my shoulder as he does so.
"Yep, and it's so much fun," Sirius answers happily. "I was going to suggest I take you for a ride on it sometime, but that's probably not a good idea."
"No, definitely not a good idea," I say. "I'm glad you had fun though."

"Merry Christmas Eve!" Sirius says, excitedly waking me up. I open my eyes to see him wearing a Christmas jumper. It's red and has a dog wearing a Christmas hat on it.
"You look ridiculous." I mumble, closing my eyes again.
"Yep, and I've got one for you too." He says and I feel him chuck a jumper onto me.
"Nope, sleepy time." I mutter.
"You are so annoying in the morning." He says, sitting down beside me.
"And you're annoying all day."
He chuckles. "Fair enough. But get up, James and Lily are spending the day alone so we get to spend time together."
"Fine," I say, sitting up in bed. "What've you got planned then?"
"Lots of hugs and kisses," He says, sitting down beside me and pressing a kiss to my cheek. "And maybe we could go on a walk in the snow."
"Sounds amazing." I say.
"But first you need to get ready."
"And have breakfast." I add.
"I brought you some food, I tried to wake you for breakfast earlier but you told me to go fuck myself."
"Sorry," I apologise. "I didn't sleep well last night."
"Something bothering you?" He asks, his eyebrows furrowing in concern.
I shrug. "I guess I'm just worrying about the pregnancy and the fact that we're going to have a baby."
"Yeah, I get it, I'm worrying too," Sirius says. "But you can't let your worries get in the way of life."
"I know," I mumble. "I promise I'll at least try and have fun today."
"Good, now eat your breakfast."
I eat and then get changed into warm clothes.
"You ready?" Sirius asks as he was lying on my bed.
"Yep, now get up, lets go have a fun day."
He gets up, throwing on his coat before taking my hand and we exit my dorm, heading downstairs and outside.
We walk around in the snow for a bit, talking about random things, though I notice Sirius seems distracted by something, like something is on his mind.
Just as I'm about to question him on it, he stops walking causing me to stop too and look at him in confusion.
"Y/n, I need to ask you something." He says and I nod. He gets down on one knee and my eyes widen. Oh no no no no no.
"Sirius-"
"Y/n, I know we're young and I know this is crazy, but we're going to have a baby together so this is the right thing to do. Will you marry me?"
I take a deep breath.
"No." I answer, he stands up and looks at me with a confused frown. I take his hand in mine. "I'm sorry. Sirius, you know I love you so much, but we shouldn't get married just because we're having a baby. And believe me, saying no to you right now is one of the hardest things I've ever done, but we aren't ready to get married, you know that. But in a few years, once we are definitely ready, if you propose to me I promise I will say yes, but not now."
He sighs, looking down at the ground. "You're right, I'm sorry."
"Don't apologise," I say, using my hand to lift his head, making him look at me. I see his eyes glisten with tears. "I love you, but we're too young for marriage."
"I mean, legally-"
"Sirius, you know that's not what I meant."
"I know, I just-" He stops midsentence, sighing and running his hand through his hair. "I don't ever want to leave you."
"I don't want to leave you either, but that doesn't mean we need to get married now." I say.
"Y/n, there's a war going on out there, what if something happens to one of us?"
"I don't know, but we're still in school, getting engaged right now would be crazy."
"I know, I'm sorry for asking." He mumbles, looking away from me.
"Sirius, I'm sorry." I reach out to hold his hand but he pulls away.
"I need some time alone." He mumbles and I frown.
"Okay," I say. "I love you."
He doesn't respond, he instead walks away. I watch as he goes, walking over to the Black Lake. Tears form in my eyes.
I've really fucked up this time.
I need Lily.
I know her and James are spending time alone today but I need her right now.
I head to the common room, looking for James and Lily. They aren't there so I head up to the boys' dorm. I go to just walk in but then I realise if they are in there they might be doing things I do not want to see, so I knock on the door.
"Are you guys in there?" I ask, possibly talking to no one.
"Yeah, why?" I hear Lily respond.
"Are you both wearing clothes?" I ask.
"Yeah, we're just in here talking." James answers.
I walk into the room.
"Oh god, what happened?" Lily asks.
"Well, Sirius proposed to me." I answer.
"What did you say?" Lily asks.
"I said no. It's crazy, we aren't ready to get married."
"Fuck, where is he?" James asks.
"Down by the lake I think." I answer.
"Lils, I know we said we'd spend the day together but-" James says to Lily but she stops him.
"Just go, this drama is more interesting." Lily says.
"Stop saying my problems are interesting," I say. "I'm freaking out here."
"Sorry, but this is interesting to me, it's like a tv show, but more interesting." Lily says and James nods in agreement as he puts shoes on.
"I hate both of you." I mumble.
"I hate you too." James says, walking past me and out the door, off to find Sirius.
I sit down beside Lily.
"You know you did the right thing, saying no." She says to me.
"Well the right thing sucks," I say. "I mean yeah we aren't ready for marriage and we're too young and the main reason he was proposing was because of the baby, but part of me wishes I said yes."
~*Sirius' POV*~
I sit on the beach, throwing stones into the lake in front of me.
I was stupid, I don't know what I was thinking. She's right, we aren't ready to get married.
I notice James walking over to me. He sits down beside me but I don't bother looking at him.
"Do you want to talk about what happened?" He asks me. I shake my head. "Okay, well I'm here if you want to."
"No, you should go spend time with Lily, like you planned to."
"I'm not leaving you alone," He says. "You're my best friend and I care about you, I'm here for you when you do stupid shit."
I put my head in my hands.
"I fucked everything up." I say, feeling on the verge of tears.
"No you haven't," James says, placing his hand on my shoulder. "Believe me, when Y/n came in and told us you proposed she was obviously freaking out, but that doesn't mean you've fucked anything up."
"No, I have."
"Sirius, just go talk to her, she's probably worried about you."
I sigh. "I can't, not after proposing."
"Mate, you can't just avoid her forever."
"I know, I just- I just need more time to think." I say.
"Well I'm staying here with you." James says.
"You don't need to."
"But I am."
We sit in silence for a bit, but I decide that James is right, I should talk to Y/n, avoiding her isn't going to solve anything.
I stand up, James does the same.
"You going to talk to her?" He asks.
I nod.
~*Y/n's POV*~
I was lying in my bed, staring at the ceiling.
Lily and I had decided to head to our own dorm after James left to find Sirius.
I sit up when I hear the sound of the dorm door opening.
"Hi." Sirius says to me.
"Hi." I respond.
"I can tell this is going to be an awkward conversation, so I'm gonna leave." Lily says, getting up off her bed and heading out the door.
Sirius comes and sits down beside me.
Neither of us speak for a moment, neither of us know what to say.
"So, about what I said," Sirius starts, breaking the awkward silence. "You're right. Getting married right now would be completely insane. I'm sorry if I freaked you out."
"It's okay, I wasn't too freaked out," I say. "But just because we aren't ready to get married now, doesn't mean we won't ever be, so I promise next time you propose, I will definitely say yes."
"Well in that case-" He says jokingly with a smirk.
"Shut up." I laugh, lightly pushing him.
He wraps his arms around me, pulling me in for a tight hug.
"I love you so much," He says. "I'm sorry I'm a dumbass."
"Don't apologise, you can't help but be a dumbass."
"I'm your dumbass though." He says.
"My dumbass." I say with a small smile.

Well that was an odd chapter, and also somehow written very quickly(its a miracle!).
And it is officially Valentines Day here, and I wanted to get a chapter out today to celebrate love or some bullshit like that. idk.
So next chapter might take a while to be written, I have no ideas for it so that's probably not good.
Literally any chapter I have an idea for is way off in the future. Kill me.
But anyways, I hope you enjoyed this weird, dumb chapter.
