Sirius mumbling in his sleep wakes me up. I sigh slightly, kicking him in the shin, hoping it will make him shut up.

His arms tighten around my waist, his face buried in my back.

"Sirius," I say gently, grabbing his hand. "Wake up."

He mumbles something I cant hear.

I roll over in his arms and lightly cup his cheek.

"Sirius, wake up."

His eyes suddenly shoot open. He relaxes slightly as he takes in reality.

We both silently sit up, Sirius instantly resting his head on my shoulder and I begin running my hand through his hair.

"Are you okay?" I ask softly.

He nods. "I'm fine."

"Are you sure? You're not just lying so you don't worry me?"

"It was just a nightmare, I'm fine," He says.

I press a small kiss to the top of his head.

"I'm sorry for waking you," He apologises quietly.

"You don't ever need to apologise for that," I respond.

"I know, I just- I feel bad."

"Shut up, you have no reason to feel bad. I love you a lot, so I don't mind being woken up when you have nightmares."

"I love you so much," He mumbles, moving so he's now completely laying on me, his arms wrapped around my waist and his head on my chest.

I smile down at him adoringly.

"Are you sure you're okay?" I ask again.

"Ask me again and I'll-" He stops and thinks for a moment. "Never mind, I cant think of a good threat. But yes, I am fine."

I kiss the top of his head again and he hums in contentment.

"I love you so much." He says quietly.

"I love you too."

The next morning, I wake up and Sirius is still fast asleep laying on me. I smile amusedly when I realise I cannot move.

"Sirius, wake up." I say, nudging his shoulder.

"No thanks." He mumbles.

"But I'm hungry."

"You're not hungry, you're Y/n."

I sigh. "Sirius, move please."

I cant help but smile as he just begins wiggling his entire body. I am so in love with this total idiot.

"You know that is not what I meant."

"Shoulda been more specific." He grumbles, stopping moving.

"You're right, my bad." I smile. "Can you move off of me now?"

"No."

"Sirius-"

"Shh, sleep time."

I chuckle lightly. "Look, I want food. If you move I'll make you breakfast."

"But cuddles."

"But breakfast."

He groans but rolls off me.

"I love you," I say, pressing a small kiss to his forehead and getting out of bed.

"Love you too." He mumbles.
