21 - A Birthday Treat

By some miracle I'm managing to get this out before 2021, which I didn't expect. And like idk if this means I'll be back to regularly posting, but I'll try my best. 

Okay so this chapter does contain smut, but since I know not everyone enjoys reading that, there will be a warning before anything happens. But this chapter is like 90% smut not gonna lie so I'm very sorry to those of you who don't want to read it, this chapter will kinda suck for you.

Sirius has been having more nightmares recently, so I've been staying in his bed with him because -according to him- my hugs make everything better. 

And usually I'm awake before Sirius in the morning, but not today apparently. 

"Y/n, wake up, wake up, wake up." He says happily. 

"Can't," I mumble. " I'm dead." 

"Y/n." He whines. 

"Its sleep time." I say. 

"But it's my birthday, you need to wake up." 

"It'll still be your birthday in an hour, wake me up then."

"Y/n." He says, poking my face.

"Y/n please just get up so he stops talking and I don't kill him." I hear James mumble tiredly from his bed.

"Or I could just kill him." I respond.

"Can you two stop planning on murdering me, its my birthday." Sirius says.

"Doesn't mean I cant kill you." I say.

"Stop being mean." He pouts.

"Stop being annoying." I retort before giving in and sitting up. Sirius smiles at me. "Happy birthday, moron."

He jumps on me, wrapping his arms around me, tightly hugging me.

"I swear you're just a big baby sometimes." I say amusedly.

"Shut up." He mumbles, snuggling his head into my neck.

"I love you." I whisper into his ear. 

"I love you too." He replies, lifting his head from my shoulder, but his arms stayed wrapped around me. 

"Wanna go downstairs and get breakfast?" I ask, gently running my hands through his hair. 

"Can we just stay here and cuddle?"  

"Sure." I say, a small smile on my face. I love cuddling up with Sirius in the morning, it's one of my favourite things and I especially love seeing the smile on his face. 

We stay like that for a while before James, Remus and Peter wake up and decide it's time to give Sirius his birthday presents. 

Remus and Peter give Sirius their gifts to him, and I see James is finding it impossible to sit still the entire time. 

Once Sirius was done opening the two presents James stands up excitedly. "Come on, my gift for you is outside." 

We all confusedly get shoes on while James impatiently waits by the door. We all head outside, James and Sirius practically jumping with excitement the entire way. 

"So, do you have any idea what this gift is?" I ask Remus and Peter. 

"Not a clue." Remus answers, and Peter shakes his head. 

"James has been really secretive about it." Peter says. 

"Yet he still somehow wont shut up about it." Remus says.
