"Sigh, they still haven't fixed the bell? It sounds terrible"

A student shook his head disappointedly whilst making his way towards a certain desk in a 1st year classroom.

"Ayagai, the club supervisor said there will be a meeting later on after school" the moment he did, an announcement slipped out of his mouth.

The desk in which he approached had its owner sloppily sat on his chair. Empty and lifeless eyes. His wavy hair messier than usual.

Indeed it was, the heartbroken lad, Takaaki Ayagai.

.........................

......

...

Although his ears worked just fine, it took awhile for Takaaki to even react to the student's presence. He came across as ignorant for a split second.

"Hey! Did you hear me?" thus he had to be scolded eventually. The alarming loud noise bringing him back to reality.

"A-Ah, yeah, sure. Let's head over there now" startled, his reply was released with a stutter. Luckily his balance remained well once he stood up with his bag.

His sighs however, never seemed to stop. Even until they stepped out of class, his depressed state remained as prominent as ever.

"Ayagai, you seem distracted the entire day, is everything okay?" and so the student had to ask.

"Nothing, I'm fine...."

Pass the school halls they walked. The building interior design resembled a grand art museum. Although it was no question, their school was most recognized for their reputation in arts.

One of the best private schools in town, S Senior High School.

The student walking with him was Kai, another attendee who was also in the same club as him.

Their club being no other than the Decorating Club.

Decorating Club is one of S Senior High school's  extracurriculars. Most of the time, the clubroom doesn't seem so busy. The club participants would just relax if there aren't any forthcoming events.

But whenever there is however, the club would be as busy as ever.

And so what will happen soon.

"I heard our school will be holding a celebration for the principal's 50th birthday" Kai suddenly informed. "I guess the meeting's gonna be about that"

But such explanation wasn't exactly needed for all Takaaki reacted was a disinterested lazy groan.

He verily came across as a slacker, truthfully unwilling to join club activities. The kind of person who'd very much prefer to return home quickly.

But he certainly isn't that kind. If anything, he's quite reliable and proficient enough to even be predicted as club president one day.

However this day wasn't exactly his best.

"Why choose someone whose feelings are still unknown when you can choose someone who obviously feels a lot for you?!"

From morning he kept remembering about his recent heartbreak. Memories of last night's venting just increased his misery.

Throughout the entire school day he was as sloppy as a jellyfish. Feeling nothing but pity upon himself.
