"Ahaha, that's so true!"

While Miyako and Kaoru had to begin their evening with awkward silence, Momoko on the other hand, had easily engaged in a friendly conversation with Mamoru.

A natural laugh of hers came out after hearing the boy's previous statement. "It's often difficult for me to reason with Kaoru. She just keeps on arguing"

"Indeed. Hiroto often has excuses to not listen to me also"

Apparently the two eldest children were discussing about their younger siblings. More specifically, the second eldest ones.

"Though I can understand why she does that. I'm only 3 minutes older, we're basically the same age" Momoko informed as she settled from laughing.

Who knows what lured them into such a conversation. But all there is clear to see they were getting close quite fast.

"I have to say, I'm more than glad to meet you again, Momoko" Mamoru said. Looking at him a simple smile formed on the girl's face.

"You didn't change much from 2 years ago, do you still like your books and sweets?" He asked. "Of course, you do" And answered it himself.

The blonde took a second to scan Momoko's face as they made eye contact and smiled teasingly.

"I suppose your face did change a bit"

Hearing that, a huge exclamation point appeared above Momoko's head.

But before she could ask any further questions regarding his words, Mamoru immediately continued with "The amount of sweets you have partake must've contributed to that"

And it triggered the pink girl's panic even more.

"Wh-what...?!" Anxiety began to haunt her as she took a mirror out of her purse in hurry. Holding one cheek she stared at herself in the object.

"Is my face rounder? Does it look bloated?" She questioned. And thus she had to turn over to Mamoru. Desperate for answers.

Being in that state, it was only natural for her to expect words of assurance.

But seeing how flustered Momoko has become, a smirk appeared on Mamoru's face followed by a light chuckle.

"Changed as in it became sweeter" He clarified. "I didn't say anything about it being round now, didn't I?"

The flustered girl took a long pause after witnessing a wink from him. Three dots made an appearance above her in sequence.

And as soon as she came back to reality, more and more shades of red covered her face.

"D-don't say things like that!" Thus she reprimanded. "Such use of words could lead to misunderstandings"

Momoko was indeed embarrassed. But then again she felt a bit shy after Mamoru's compliment.

Despite all of that, she still managed to keep a serious face whilst telling her teasing partner off.

And her acts made him delighted. It drew more of his interest towards her.

"Is that so?" He raised a brow in amusement. "I believe you are excited for this summer? Summer festivals provide many sweets, after all"

Momoko's once heated ears flinched as her previous emotions drifted away.

"Actually, I've never been to a festival before" She sheepishly admitted, rubbing her left arm.

"Really? How unfortunate" Mamoru commented. "Have you planned any vacations, perhaps?"
