In another place...

"Say, brother. What are you pondering about?"

Into a fancy room of lovely wallpaper and royal furniture, a young lad desultorily walked. His voice verily relaxed, questioning another who seemed to be in distraught.

He neared, not the slightest feeling of guilt or humility occurring. Not even a slight bit he worried this person may not be in the right state to speak to.

And certainly he wasn't, and he knew.

But he stopped to stare at the sight, waiting for a reply, planning to stay and bug for until he receives one.

Not caring to acknowledge others' privacy.

Thus the sight was another lad he knew, his dear brother, crossing both legs as he sloppily sat, an arm set upon the cushion armrest with his head leaned against his weakened fist.

Viewing his terribly bothered face, instead of support, he smiled before mockingly asking

"Did you wake up from the wrong side of bed?"

Certainly it was a rarity to view the older so distressed. Especially in the mornings.

Amused on his own, he cackled nastily before making his way towards the huge window, indulged in the wonderful view.

"Be quiet"

But not even 5 seconds into admiring he suddenly received a curt response from his brother. However, he didn't care and thus, shrugged ignorantly.

Staring at the view, he eventually noticed the reflection shown by the glass window. His physical appearance, a sight that boosted his pride.

"Heh" And so he began to pose confidently.

A charmingly eccentric look he had that many praised, and so he had to personally agree.

His cream colored hair and a distinctive streak of dark blue placed on the middle section of his 4/6 parted bangs.

Each time his image surfaces, he couldn't help but admire.

"Hey"

But then, his brother's stern voice interrupted this posing session. Thus, his eyes reflexively glanced at him.

"Do you remember the evening party we attended 2 years prior?"

An inquiry that captured his attention, shifting his interest as he willingly replied "Oh, you mean the one father's old boss hosted?"

His stance repositioned to relaxingly lean upon the window sill, facing the back view of the comfy chair his brother sat on.

That mere question given, he couldn't help but speculate.
