As your feelings for someone grow stronger,

so does your fear of losing them.

Only Ajay and Amrita were asked to remain by Simran at the end of their little celebration. Rest of the team resumed their work.

Simran gave a photo and a small file to Ajay.

"Ajay, can you work with your team to track this guy, wherever he is, and get him arrested as soon as we find him. I believe he is proving very elusive to the police here, and we need him under their custody ASAP." Amrita too looked at the photo and there was a satisfactory grin on her face.

"Sure, no problem." Ajay picked up the file and photo.

"Can I work with Ajay on this? As you know I can be very helpful in this particular case." Amrita asked hopefully, with her best innocent face. Simran looked at both of them with stern eyes, as they looked at her in anticipation and amusement.

She supressed her smile and replied in a non-committal tone.

"I have been given strict orders by the DIG Sir to keep you in separate teams. If you want to go against his order, please go speak to him, don't involve me."

"Simran, I admit you are a good liar but not as good as us." Ajay smirked.

"Ok Ok... you know what? Do whatever, but make sure you have all the reports ready when I demand them, or you will go back to where you were." Simran replied sternly, but couldn't keep up, and started laughing out loudly.

"Simran, I will make sure that Ajay does his work on time, and all reports are submitted in a proper way." Amrita replied as Ajay looked crossly at her.

"You won't regret it, I promise." Amrita gave Simran a quick hug as she got up to leave. And now Amrita was left with Ajay. The moment Simran closed the door behind her, Ajay grabbed Amrita's arms and yanked her up against the same door, pinning her with his frame.

"What the hell was that? You will make sure what?" Ajay growled as Amrita giggled and tried to free herself in vain.

"Ouch... you are hurting me. Okay I am sorry Ajay, but everyone knows how you hate paperwork. You are an outdoor action man. You were never prompt in doing homework at school either. I was just kidding OK? Now please, please let me go. Someone will come through this door right now, and it will be so awkward." She begged him with a flushed face.

"Sorry won't do. I just let you get away with everything. It's high time you face punishment for what you did. Kiss me and don't stop till I say so. Otherwise, I will keep you here till someone opens this door. I don't care what they think of me as much as you do." He smiled wickedly at her.

"Are you crazy? No way." Amrita hissed furiously, and tried to push him away, but failed again.

Just then she heard footsteps behind the door. Ajay looked warningly at her, and drew her even closer.
