A pretty girl, dressed in very classy and stylish clothes approached the reception, and introduced herself as Sonali. She explained that she was there to start her job today, as the new Security Analyst. Amrita styled her hair meticulously, and was wearing the best clothes highlighting her figure. She also tried to imitate the accent and mannerisms of Sonali as much as she could, as she spoke to the receptionist.

But she need not have worried. It looked like no one in that office actually remembered how Sonali looked. The Receptionist was clearly jealous of Amrita's looks, and started ignoring her, after giving her the initial top to bottom onceover.
She was already in a bad mood as her laptop died again that morning. She snapped at the office boy Keshav who was staring at Amrita open mouthed, and asked him to inform the HRD manager Anand Rai about the new employee.
Keshav was on cloud nine once he realised that Amrita was not a guest, but a new employee at the office. He courteously asked Amrita to be seated in the guest lounge, and hurried off to inform Anand Rai about this new development.
Anand Rai was busy chatting ( flirting) with his personal secretary Pia in his cabin.
Keshav knocked the door and entered impatiently. Once he noticed Pia's presence, he hesitated to say what he originally intended to.
"Sir, there is a new girl waiting at the reception. She is our new employee in IT department it seems. Rashi Madam has asked me to inform you, and to bring you along quickly." He said eagerly.
But he couldn't contain himself, and grinning widely added, "She is very pretty Sir."
Pia glared crossly at Keshav.
Anand Rai could see that Keshav was quite excited about this new starter.
"Are you sure Keshav? Normally all our IT staff are quite intelligent nerds, but they all look pretty boring. Anyway I have to meet this new starter today, as her General Manager is away. But I am sure this new girl is no match to my angel Pia" he declared lovingly.
After making sure that Pia was mollified, he left with Keshav. Once he was out of earshot of Pia, he asked eagerly "Is she really that pretty Keshav?"
"I swear Anand Sir, you can check for yourself" Keshav replied promptly.
Anand Rai had quite a reputation with the female staff in the office, but his close connection to the CEO had kept him safe in his job, and he ensured any complaints were silenced under his authority as the HRD manager. Sonali got a glimpse of this, when she was being interviewed by him, and passed on this information to Amrita, alerting her to be wary of him.
