Chapter 31 Denial

Start from the beginning

Jimin cleared his throat to get the others attention once more. "Namjoon-hyung, it seems to me that you like Jin more than you think you do." Of course, Namjoon reacted to that and Jimin expected it so before the owners kicked the two males out for being so loud, Jimin dragged the male out of the shop. Once they reached to the park and sat on the bench, Namjoon was still flustered at Jimin's statement.

Jimin turned to look at him. "Look Namjoon hyung, I'm going to be honest with you. Jin-hyung doesn't seem like a bad guy. Maybe you should give him a chance? He could be different from all of the other people you "dated".

Namjoon burst out laughing before standing up, glaring down at Jimin. "I know he's not a bad guy, man. The boy's too damn naive and innocent, not to mention so damn shy at times. It still amazes me how I can easily have him wrap around my fingers just like how I want him to be."

Jimin felt anger rising inside his throat. He didn't like how Namjoon was talking down about Jin, especially when Jimin had come to favor him after that last dinner they had. He missed hanging out with Jin and Tae greatly, but Jackson had been his first friend when he came here to Seoul, so he obviously couldn't just go to Jin's side. He owes Jackson for saving him from the bullies and he wanted to repay him. Before he could open his mouth to protest, his words caught in his throat as Namjoon suddenly slumped against his seat, his eyes holding confusion with a slight hint of anger.

"But at the same time, he's the type of guy who doesn't give up when things don't go as planned. The type of guy who cares about his friends and family, the type of guy whose dream is to touch people with his foods and his voice. He makes me irritated sometimes because he makes me...feel things. Things that I absolutely refuse to allow myself to succumb because it makes me weak. Argh! All of this is making my head hurt." Namjoon's head roll back and he let out a yell, startling the birds that were in front of them.

Jimin stayed quiet for a minute before an idea came slipping into his head. He sat up and stared straight ahead. "So you do care about Jin or you don't, hyung? Which is it?"

Namjoon hesitated and he curse mentally for doing so. "I don't care about him." "Not even alittle?"

"....okay, fine. Maybe a little bit. Why do even ask such absurd question?"

Jimin shrugged casually. "I saw this hot dude getting all touchy with Jin the other day." He peak at Namjoon, wanting to see his reaction and his eyes widen upon the anger expression on Namjoon's face. He smirked slightly. "I was intrigued by his looks, so I got closer and saw him planting a kiss close to Jin's lips. Wah, I didn't realize Jin-hyung looked so cute blushing!"

Namjoon stood up quickly and glared at Jimin. "YAH Why are you telling me this?!"

"Because you're his boyfriend, hyung."

"So what if I'm his boyfriend. He's nothing but a damn boy toy to me," Namjoon smirked. His phone suddenly vibrated before Jimin could respond back.

To Namjoon: Yo, egghead! Taeyeon just invited us to her party. Hot chicks there tonight! Let's go man! It's been forever since we had fun with them, if you know what I mean. ;) You better agree or are you too busy smooching with that fatty boy of yours?

Namjoon smirked, ignoring Jimin's curious look.

To: Walking Cornstick

Namjoon lets out a small laugh at the nickname Jin had told him about. It never fails to make him laugh.

Let's go man! I ain't smooching him tonight when all those hot babes are waiting for me. See you tonight.

He place his phone back into his pocket before glancing at Jimin. "Got a party to attend too soon. See you later, shorty!" He quickly dash away before Jimin could throw a shoe at him. "Yah, Kim Namjoon!" Jimin sigh. "You're more of an idiot than I thought. Denying your feelings will only cause you pain, hyung," he whispered. Noticing the sky getting dark, he got up and walked home, his occupied by Yoongi once more.
